Notifications for Comment Edits gets annoying

Do we need the notifications for when a comment is edited? I'm not a forum professional so I don't know.

It is possible to turn it off at the user level. Go into your profile settings and in the right column there is a subsection "Notifications".. The 6th option from the top is "When a post is edited in a topic you are watching". Just set the notification to "none".

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit? When you register for an account, you'll always come back to exactly where you were before, and choose to be notified of new replies (either via email, or push notification). You'll also be able to save bookmarks and upvote posts to show your appreciation to other community members.
