I've been living peaty for close to a year now and still one of the things I can't seem to get rid of is acne. In particular the sides of my head near my temples, but some throughout my face as well. I believe I have good gut health, I eat enough gelatin, avoid things I'm allergic to etc. Progesterone, niacinamide, Aspirin, DHT, T3+t4 nothing really works.
I've tried extensive skincare routine, no routine and everything in the middle. it's not severe and is more like mild acne, but it's still something I wish to fully get rid of. If anyone has any tips?

@PrinceTrebata might be completely useless to you. But I think contact with nasty bacterial stuff can be pretty problematic. Long hair counts if sufficiently grimy.
I had face irritation from a sleeping mask for a while, but this stopped when I started using a fresher one for bed. Now I have two so I can easily keep one off-rotation (unfortunately LED lights in my area mean I "need" it to sleep well)

@Rah1woot My hair is pretty long and I try not to wash it to often so this might be the reason. I notice when my nails grow a little long my acne starts to act up which could be the bacteria underneath making contact with my skin. Did you just minimize contact with the bacteria or did you do other things?

@PrinceTrebata In my case it was enough to stop contact with bacteria that presumably lived off of the various face oils I was depositing in that sleeping mask by being alive. I also like weekly liver a lot after I started to do that recently. Supposedly it can help with keeping the skin/other membranes in a good functional state. But this should not be overdone.

Might also want to try a hairstyle that keeps hair from touching the face as much.
