TSH and Alkaline phosphatase

@alex155 how did they or you get to it being biliary pancreatitis specifically?
-
@cs3000
my pancreas and the right side (gallbladder?) hurt when I press on the pancreas, the pain intensifies on the right side, and vice versa.
also the ultrasound showed an inflamed pancreas and chronic cholecystitis, but no stones were found, and they prescribed UDCA, so I've been drinking it for 3 years, without a break, it seems to reduce the pain, but the problem hasn't gone away( -
@cs3000
maybe it's important...
I used to take finasteride and roaccutane (unfortunately) maybe that played a role too.
And thank you for spending your time on me, I really appreciate it! -
I would switch UDCA to TUDCA right away, and probably most of the effects are gained by 500mg
UDCA is toxic or at least easier to become toxic https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3430272/
TUDCA is safer and pretty much same effectiveness for this kind of thing. sometimes better in certain areas
theres this in cholecystitis https://www.semanticscholar.org/reader/f98d7e662e4dc23393d1c4b4b1c9bfebaef436da
i would try low fat diet <20% of calories combined with anti inflamm compounds e.g above or othersthere's octacosanol which could fit well with anti inflammatory and atherosclerosis reducing benefits, but hesitant to mention it because idk about potential for it to increase bile acid load. it increases bile acid in feces at least. so there's potential for it to be detrimental , or a help. so cant help you with decision on that

@cs3000
thank you very much!
I will definitely look into this! -

@alex155 have you thought about DHT , haidut has many articles showing how beneficial androgens are for inflammatory issues.
also. I read yesterday that people who are hypothyroid have issues like this, and people who are hyper actually have less.
maybe aspirin is worth trying even though it can be irritating at first

@eduardo-crispino
unfortunately, in my country it is forbidden to buy steroids without a doctor's prescription (criminal liability).
I have been taking aspirin daily for 14 years, 100 mg, because of problems with atherosclerosis.
regarding hypothyroidism, I am confused by the low TSH, I have an adrenaline reaction to coffee and cigarettes, with cold hands and feet, I am afraid that with thyroid hormones it will be even worse (maybe I am wrong) -

I would Try decaffeinated coffee with cream and sugar. It has beneficial caffeine just in smaller amounts. And other benefits as well, such as chlorogenic acid.
I would Start with miniscule amounts of thyroid, and with food or a meal, and gradually work my way up.
Are you taking vitamin k? K2 is a good form of k. I think that would help your liver along with the (decaffeinated) coffee. It helps to have vitamin k along with vitamin d, preferably d3. -
Bro, I have familial hypercholesterolemia and 3 heart attacks... I don't know if it's safe to take thyroid hormones in this condition? (the last heart attack was in August 2024) I'm 35 years old, all the veins on my arms and legs hurt from K2 (pulling sensation) I take D3 every other day 2000, it's summer now, I'll try to stay in the sun longer
