      Is there a German-speaking Ray Peat/bioenergetic coach like Danny Roddy that you can talk to 1:1?

      I've tried everything possible in the Ray Peat area over the last year, but I'm just not getting anywhere. Also certain medications at IdeaLabs and all sorts of things in nutrition.

        @StephanO sorry don’t know anyone. But what is your objective? For example, general health, a particular malady, or just trying to optimize a chosen pursuit?

          @StephanO

          It's next to impossible finding a good Ray Peat coach. That coach would have to have read all of Peat's writings as his curriculum to give himself a well-earned diploma that is superior to all the diplomas from the supposedly top-rated medical schools in the whole wide world. That person would either be a genius who can speed read and speed understand all his writings, and speed internalize and speed connect the dots to be able to help you. Or spend more time than involved in getting a phD in a long sabbatical which means he has enough funds to spare. A lot of experts around have gaping holes in their knowledge of bioenergetics but when you're a recognized expert in any field, you can pretty much make up anything as you go (if you're deceitful) and you can practically get away with it. But even when ythe expert is very decent and honest and earnest in helping someone, he still would not measure to the vast expanse of knowledge in Ray Peat's mind. Even Ray Peat in his years would fail in reaching into his mind to retrieve all that info in his brain.

          Let me offer you a workable alternative considering all the practical limitations I mentioned.

          First, define your problem.

          Secondly, compile a select set of keywords that are related to your problem and do a keyword search on all the writings of Ray Peat. For this, you will need all his writings that are text-based (not image scans), and use a good search engine to get the necessary articles or books or newsletters Pest has ever written.

          Read each one of them with an intent to understand and internalize. Do a lot of thinking also as you read, and don't move on to another article as if you are in a hurry to read all of them. This keeps you from having gaps in knowledge you otherwise would have gained by not rushing. Sure, this takes time but it pays off having a certain level of mastery when you start to apply what you learn on your condition. You will soon be connecting the dots and you will soon be able to troubleshoot like your body is a car and you are the mechanic that actually fixes a problem for good without simply replacing the whole assembly like most 'geniuses' at Apple Stores do.

          This of course is not going to gain you the full set of Peat's mind but just a subset of it, but that is enough to work with and already more than what many experts possess. But it is not for everyone. There are people who go through school and life not doing much reading and relying on other people to teach them directly as in a classroom lecture and don't have the wherewithal to undergo individualized instruction. This advice only to you if you have the aptitude and the discipline to learn by reading. I know because I have a sister who have a master's degree in polymer chemistry but she relied a lot on lectures. She could not read even one newsletter of Ray Peat without falling asleep or giving up.

          But if you needed a coach, and going by the rates they charge, it would be difficult to pay him on an hourly rate as improving one's health bioenergeticslly takes a long time. Just getting rid of all the PUFA stores in your body if you had been PUFA-intoxicated would take 4 years when you begin going on a PuFA cold turkey regimen. Given this situation, you have to arrange some kind kind of realistic payment scheme with your coach to make your health transition successfully from a frail low metabolic to an energetic fully alive high metabolic person.

          In case you want to take up my advice on reading up, you're in luck. As you read each article and encounter some word or phrase or xoncept, and you feel like Ray is going over your head, you can tsp into the power of AI. I highly recommend you use Delphi AI and choose Ray Peat as the person the AI tried to emulate. You ask him a question pertaining to what you didn't understand. He will answer you thoroughly like he were Pest with all the time in the world to answer your questions satisfactorily.

          Godspeed!

            @StephanO also, may we ask, what drew you to peat in the first place, that made you want to learn more about his way?
