You use "causation vs correlation" argument in a context where it is not relevant at all

He says he's observed that when people he interacts with stop watching porn, they no longer have these sexual tendencies. You have no proof that his observation is false, and you say it's not the cause, it's a correlation, from his perspective, he can legitimately consider it as a causation. There's an argument that can be made that everything is correlation, considering that we can't observe all the factors that influence things, but in this context it's also useless.
Strong enough correlation=causation
