New "Mission" of RPF

This article has been around for a while, but it is worth a read for anybody who hasn't read it. It's more about social media censorship, but still, you get the picture. Hybrid warfare.

At least he speaks highly of and is impressed with Ray Peat. He also rebuffed Charlie's advances for the 'toxic a/bile' nonsense, I'll give him that. I thought that was what this thread was about, the 'new Mission' of RPF.
-
lol. Now 'big corn' and 'big dairy' are the culprits, according to Thor...

Wow, deal offer for the RPF name, but no dice says the lion.
I know Charlie reads this thread, so I want to ask him, what exactly does he think gives him the right to profit off of Peat's name while constantly insulting him and banning anyone who agrees with or defends his theories? What a pathetic man.

Don’t bother CO3, it’s not worth your heart. You may wish to proceed to pity and study that. But remember, that is a human being. And so are you. And so am I.
I’m not sure the aforementioned ever realised what they were doing but it seems obvious to me in hindsight. Presented with a series of multinational corporate dumpster fires in form of their profession, they incorporated, went multinational, and the proverbial demon they raised became prone to arson. While some of us take old adage to heart, such as a warning not to try and fight fire with fire, some of us can be a little forgetful. Not to mention a little… hot headed.
In a way I appreciate the example. Maybe I can muster a thank you. Either way, I’ll see them at home I guess. When they catch up.
Have a great day CO3.

In 2018 it started redirecting to yet another URL: https://web.archive.org/web/20180404211251/http://nutritionrestored.com/
I'm not at all familiar with how the Wayback Machine works, but none of the content is showing up under the various headings. Has it been scrubbed?
-
@C-Mex
If you fast-forward to August, the Food and Nutrients categories are gone altogether, also shown in your screenshot. Rewind to the beginning and the categories are there with a drop-down menu but the individual items are blank. I guess it could have been a template that was never completed, or a change of course later. Or the information therein may have been removed. The menu shows Vitamin A listed before the B vitamins, then Vitamin C, then D and on down the list. The year 2018 was when the Grant Genereux 'anti-Peat' thread first appeared on the RPF.
-
Question: Does exclusion of the RPF from the Wayback Machine mean that there is now no way to determine when or if online content within it has been deleted or modified?
-
@C-Mex I'm not sure, but in regards to the raypeatforum, the entire website has already been backed up for us. So Charlie can do the splits on a 12 inch carrot and pout
-
@C-Mex no. Brad and Georgi have both taken backups of the site.
-
@C-Mex You can search that direct URL https://web.archive.org/web/20180701000000*/http://nutritionrestored.com/nutrients/vitamins/vitamin-a and there are only 3 captures - all empty pages. I don’t think that indicates it was scrubbed - if it was I think you’d see a blank page with a “Sorry” message like the screenshot I posted for RPF.
His blog does have some posts on it though: https://web.archive.org/web/20180501000000*/https://nutritionrestored.com/blog/
There’s nothing about vitamin A until 2020: https://web.archive.org/web/20200923164217/https://nutritionrestored.com/blog/
Regarding RPF being removed - yes we have backups but now we can’t go back and check if certain pages/posts that were there before 2024 were changed.

That's what I was thinking. We have the backups but that site exists as a 'permanent record' that cannot be analyzed historically.
"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right." -George Orwell, 1984

@C-Mex
I guess I'm just speculating on the rationale for the exclusion in the first place. The question wouldn't have even entered my mind if it hadn't been exclused as pointed out here. Charlie knows that people have backed up the site. I suppose someone could write a program that compares the present-day site to the backups if they wanted to go through the trouble, but any changes prior would not be reflected and it would introduce uncertainty whereas using the Wayback Machine people could see it for themselves..

Haidut has tied the marketing of his products to RPF with deep links to a thread for each of his products. I noticed that there is now an online store at https://idealabs.ecwid.com/ that does not have links to RPF (at least for the products that I searched).
His premiere site (http://www.idealabsdc.com/) is still open and has has hotlinks to RPF.
-
I think he should divorce himself from it before they convince everybody over there that all supplements should be regulated by some corrupt regulatory agency.

The ecwid website has been active for over a year

@Peatly - Thanks, I was not aware of that.

@CO3 Charlie is a self-righteous f@@@@@

I think this Thor Torrens person is an agent assigned to popularize the “low vitamin A/anti-Peat” project. Has anyone found the viral video this guy is referring to?
Also look at his Twitter bio... special assistant to POTUS? Emmy winner?
Same asshole energy as Garrett Smith what a surprise
