The 2 self-crowned kings warring with each other for the sake of humanity. Who will take the throne?
-
Sad. Maybe Evan can make him laugh it off.
-
Wait, I thought they wanted people to get healthy? This is about money?! I'm shocked!
-
@revenant It's like El Chapo executing his tunnel digger.
-
-
@GreekDemiGod The mission has already been accomplished. Maybe this is how the agents dissipate.
-
There's a new thread there slamming Smith for reposting an X post about transmutation of sexual energy into high productivity, and it's all getting slammed as witchcraft and demons lol
-
@OliverCloasov
Or maybe Garret is giving something away when he starts babbling that occult stuff.Or he's simply another charlatan trying to make a dishonest buck and parrots whatever he thinks his audience wants to hear.

I just looked
The tweet was about being a man…..stopping porn
No?I think Smith is a turd
An absolutely broken dudeHowever
I support that messageJust because the verb transmute was used
Goodness
I think they meant change
As in: Change to not consume pornWhat has happened to that forum….
Is this just the nature of what information via social media does to people?Rhetorical
-
@BioEclectic nah transmutation is only 'occult' in the sense that it's not an exoteric modality and can give power to the individual to make productive changes to their lives, as opposed to dedicating that same energy to 'getting off', which is the common exoteric modality.
As for Smith looking to expand his audience with such ideas, yeah that's likely on point. Perhaps a little bit of an indirect jab towards Charlie and his crusaders too lol -
@Peatful Yup I agree
-
My only concern, and the one thing that actually vexes me - since I really do not care about their bickering, their views or ideas, from either side - is that the name RAY PEAT be removed in association with the old forum. It is absolutely and utterly wrong that his namesake IS the forum. Ridiculous at this point.
By the way, Charlie knows this. He is a typical religious zealot who is absolutely blind to his hypocrisies and contradictions. His motives now are power and money. He knows it. He knew it when he miserably argued against me back in 2016 on cleaning up the forum, as I've stated before.
-
-
@ThinPicking lol I appreciate the concern haha. Obviously I was being somewhat hyperbolic. I don't lose sleep over it. However, I would love for a cease and desist of Ray's name for his forum name.
-
The religious zealotry really drags down the forum.
It’s fine to discuss, sure, but the constant purity tests are tiring.
I don’t need or care to know how someone views god. I need and care to know if a dietary intervention works or not.

But this is important, his fave has the Mandate of Heaven or something. And apparently his prophetic projections are 'Glorious'.

I reckon these things are inextricably linked. But it may be more an underlying thought form and feeling than a linguistical exercise. Maybe more a matter of heart than mind. Gleaning it from someone's writing might involve some inference and metaphor. I've no idea really, this isn't my day job.

This thread argues that the high methionine in the standard Ray Peat foods explains the negative symptoms better than vitamin A. It makes sense, many of the "poison A" believers talk about their negative experiences with dairy, which has the worst methionine:glycine ratio of any food.

You've muddled your language VJ. You mean 'high vitamin A foods', not 'standard Ray Peat foods'.
Thank you for sharing it. Because this is supportive of my inner generalisation, that something's causing these people to struggle with the fruits of nature. And they simply picked a particular micronutrient because an engineer made up a conspiracy theory, wrote a book and tortured some mice.
Neither 'poison A' nor a methionine/glycine ratio explains their difficulty relative to those who don't have one.
-
I could buy that if muscle meat consumption wasn’t a primary focus of a low-A diet lol. They’re getting high methionine while low vit-A
