I had a realization recently that unless I curate who I talk to and what kind of content I view on YT etc that I think I get a skewed and warped perspective away from what is my ideal reality
I get a not-good feeling when I talk to normies and hear their opinions and explanations on things
occasionally though I purposefully read their comments/opinions lately to see how gay they sound to me and to re-orient my perspective (this is a contrarian approach , which often serves me well: see what people who have little style or taste or are cringe are thinking/saying and use that to determine the veracity of the opinion more accurately, because dumb and gay people usually support dumb and gay things) in a good way.

You're now wise to it so you don't need to curate. You only need to stay energetic and discern.
Diversity in your talk and content will help you understand how other people arrived. And why 'normies' don't exist.

As long as you can separate yourself, and your life trajectory away from the nonsense then keep going for it. But on the flipside i wouldn't spend too much time listening to people rehash their inner Dianetics,
