Looking for some interesting Idealabs things to add to my next order to help increase metabolism

LipOdd and MitoLipin and DeFibron appear to possibly improve metabolism, but there aren't as many reports compared to other supplements like androsterone

Anybody used any of these options and how did they make you feel?

@engineer mitolipin gave me a euphoria once that I haven't replicated
Hans says on rpf its a pointless supplement and to just eat eggs for those components in it

@sunsunsun Yeah it's an actual scam by haidut. Phosphatidyl choline gets broken down in your stomach. In the body, the choline rejoins will already circulating fatty acids, to join into a phosphatidylcholine with a lipid based off of what is in your body.

So essentially, it's an overpriced, low dose product that turns into something else in your body. I think it's a much better idea to intake soy/sunflower phosphatidyl choline dissolved in coconut oil or butter.

@alfredoolivas i would believe you but redditors say the same thing about peptides and it is proven untrue

@sunsunsun It's a half truth because much higher doses are needed? Yes some phosphatidyl choline will stay intact, but most just breaks down into choline, glycerol and a fatty acid.

@alfredoolivas Someone should dissolve Haidut's product in a 2-3 pH solution of hydrochloric acid and see what happens to it

@alfredoolivas Interesting. Then why do you think that European countries use soy-derived phosphatidylcholine to treat FLD? Do you think that population would benefit just as much from other sources of choline?

The german manufacturer lipoid, for example, claims that

" The benefits of natural phosphatidylcholine over artificial choline salts:

                  • Phosphatidylcholine can be efficiently processed by the body via natural pathways to form new cell structures
                  • Phosphatidylcholine has an enhanced bioavailability and faster absorption
                  • Due to the effective natural uptake, phosphatidylcholine does not reach the large intestine and therefore is not converted into transmethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO) by gut microbes
                  • In addition to choline, phosphatidylcholine provides essential unsaturated fatty acids that contribute to its health benefits "

@jamezb46 Phosphatidylcholine is the form least likely to raise TMAO as far as I know, maybe CDP choline is better in that regard. I think that's why it is used.

Why do you want to dissolve Mitolipin?

@alfredoolivas Becuase if adding mitolipin to a solution of HCL causes the phosphatidylcholine to break down that suggests that the same thing would happen when we eat it.

Actually, I will be increasing the milk to 4l and removing the grana padano.

If you find yourself curious enough towards such experimentation it'd great if you were to have ceruloplasmin and total plasma copper and plasma SOD activity measured before and after that fluid dairy diet. Ideally also serum oder plasma total bicarbonate before and after.
(HCO3- should be above a putative 24mmol/L renal threshold up to about 31mmol/L basally. <20 is already detrimental but commonly ignored until blood pH drop at about <12.)

@CrumblingCookie Unless you want to cover the testing costs, I most likely won't XD
Hans Amato did a 5 litre milk diet and he has the money to test these things, so maybe ask him about that stuff

But still. Phosphatidyl choline gets converted back into choline, lipids and glycerol in the gut. In the blood stream it gets reincorporated back into a phosphatidylcholine with a lipid head depending on the lipids in the blood.

                                        So effectively it's the same.
I am trying 1000mg of Citocholine to. Hopefully that gets incorporated into saturated phoshphatidyl choline in my blood.

What would also be an EPIC experiment, is 20g of lecithin and 40g of cococnut oil taken at the same time
