@lykos bro your responses are beyond parody. it cracks me up.
I'm still going to respond: I think maybe "700 concubines" made him realize something about women, or maybe something about unlimited desire and power to obtain desire. I think the Bible is largely astrological symbolism and "wisdom" literature for the goyim and clearly retellings of Egyptian, Assyrian, Sumerian and older cultural tales. Nothing will convince me otherwise, given the basic Catholic dogma of eating the body and blood of Jesus, which seems like a Jewish in-joke (and Greek mystery religion practice - Dionysus / Mithras) passed off as a new divinity for the masses. Were human blood rituals real in Judaism? Animal sacrifices are still practiced in various Christian countries and by Orthodox Jews. Maybe the human sacrifices are real, or, maybe it passes the ball back to their court, where they get to defend their wisdom that created Islam and Christianity, only the two largest world religions for the last 2,000 years.
Many have criticized and mocked Christianity as "the messenger," but not the ones who sent them. Now it's in vogue. Ok, that will pass too, and if it goes back to the Old Testament, fine. The OT is metaphors and astrological symbolism and also an ethno-religious text obviously not intended for non-Jews. Even if it was intended for non-Jews, it's full of ideas that are Greek and pre-Jewish, because the Jewish claims to antiquity >1,000 BC are not backed up by anything but writing which cannot be taken as proof (since Dead Sea Scrolls and other discoveries only date to the 1950s, or at best, medieval times).
The Septuagint is a Greek translation, almost no Christians read Hebrew and those that do are usually super Zionists, as are many if not most Christians. Even if the New Testament were true, it would NOT have followers pledging worldly allegiance to any nation, be it Israel, US, Germany, etc. It's anti-national, anti-gender, anti-self, anti-family, anti-wealth, etc. That's why priests don't harp on the rigid messages of the "hard-sayings." Give away your wealth and preach the gospel? Jesus was come to bring the sword? Not popular lines for a reason.
The NT texts were fabricated by Paul/Saul or other wealthy rabbis; it helped implement a state religion in Rome. Even if it did exist as a Jewish doomsday cult in the 1st century, it was not unified until the 4th century. Again, huge overlap with Mithraism in the Roman Empire (just look at the Churches/Mithraea), likely tons of regional variations and local "saints" or deities, just like today, where thousands of saints rule over different parishes, and there are huge differences in customs and beliefs from one place to the next.

@Corngold correct for the most part christianity is eschatological doomsday cult, inspired by zoroastrianism and hellenic traditions and judaism. Where you are wrong is about jesus, he wasnt the son of god but a rogue figure who preached gnosticism, paul fabricated his story for the benefit of rome and the jews. jesus real teachings can be found in the gospel of thomas recently discovered. Elaborate on this part the OT is metaphors and astrological symbolism and also an ethno-religious text obviously not intended for non-Jews
-
@lykos who are you even trolling at this point lmao.

@Corngold not trolling, do your homework

Not my quant but it seems quite explicitly conditional. Maybe you don't like or you're struggling to read the conditions.
