- Betaine
- α-Ketoglutarate
- Oxaloacetate
- Hydrogen Sulfide
- Myo-Inositol

Interestingly a lot of the benefits of dietary/protein restriction seem to be due to an endogenous increase inH2S synthesis.
It seems to have some beneficial effects for the ETC.
"H2S can stimulate mitochondrial respiration at sites downstream of common PMD-defective subunits, augmenting energy production, mitochondrial function and reducing cell death. "

I am wondering if the endogenous increase is a compensatory mechanism for the lower protein.
