Consuming too much information
-
I can watch endless videos daily about xyz philosophy or esoteric occult etc.
But this may just be a trick of the system.
While yes these videos may open the door to new knowledge, I am still handicapping myself from actully cultivating something.
I am consuming knowledge with no effort.
I doubt much of it sticks; there is no work put into it.
It makes sense that a video would offer more easy to consume information at industrial like efficacy- yet I never digest any of this? -
Info overload's real but why would you pick a subject like that. Just don't. When you're bored you can just be bored, put on your walking boots or read (light) fiction (published pre 2022). The latter's all a bit metaphorical anyway, Ray Peat talks about this.
All other info then has technical/practical application. Like milling wood or grouting tiles. When you're done actually milling wood and grouting tiles you can mix in the fiction and make meta jokes about milling wood and grouting tiles.

I assume he is. He had another thread about it but you'll need to ask.
Me, I'm quite handy with notifications and a multi monitor terminal. What about you hammy, how's your wysiwyg chatbot etc.
