2 Month Milk Diet Review
-
4l of whole milk a day + 500g of quark + a lot of spinach
Benefits:
Morning height grew from 5'10 (178.9cm) to 5'11 (180.4cm)
More social
Euprhoria
More energy
AnabolismCons:
TSH ROSE FROM 1.99 TO 5.6. This could be due to excessive iodine (2mg+). Currently experiencing asymptomatic hypothyroidism.
Alot less morning wood
Gained 11 pounds, though visually I look leaner. My face especially because I used Korean Fat Dissolvers injections. -
@alfredoolivas
Do you prefer spinach to kale?
Do you cook the spinach with the quark?
Do you get gas from eating lots of spinach?I've been on a similar diet but 2l skim milk + 1 litre oj + cheese to satiety and I definitely feel "lighter" mentally and physically with this way of eating but I noticed I feel adrenaline a lot (heart racing a lot thinking about presentations, quicker to feel anger when attacked verbally) more this way of eating compared to 1l whole milk + 1l oj + cheesy eggs + some beef.
I'd struggle on this diet you've posted because I get gassy from cooked greens and quark tastes horrible to me. Also, that amount of whole milk makes me feel kinda brain fogged, but I'm probably fatter than you.

- No, I haven't got access to kale.

Was the lab work that showed elevated TSH done after the full 2 months? I had to google what Wolff Chaikoff effect is, with the sources online saying it should have corrected itself by then.
-
Have/will you supplement selenium or try anything else to offset this effect?
-
I am also curious about the spinach with its oxalate content, and how that might affect the absorption of the dietary calcium in the milk. Did you account for, or test for this in any way?
-
Do you have any idea what the weight gain is; water, muscle, fat, combination?
-
Did you drink it cold, or let it reach room temp? Drinking it cold makes me feel full much faster.
I drink about 2L a day. I could easily drink more than that, but then I won't have enough appetite for starches, which I tend to need to not feel hypo/stressed.
Sometimes I drink whole, but if I have the time then I will separate the cream from the top and drink it at a lower fat content, and then use or store the cream for other times. The skimming makes it feel faster/easier to digest, and the cream is usually for before bed. -

fat and muscle in that order

@alfredoolivas According to cronometer, my only good source of folate is orange juice or the small portion of lamb liver I have once every 1-2 weeks.
Do you think those issues I mentioned are folate related then? I believe there is a Travis post on RPF about A1 cow milk causing folate deficiency, which might seem to correlate with my experience because when I drink skim milk it's A1 but when I do whole it's A2. I definitely seem calmer in a lot of ways drinking A2, but for cost and weight reasons I've been on cheap A1 skim recently.

@alfredoolivas I might be misremembering but I'm sure you told someone on reddit not long ago that that much egg shell powder was a stupidly high dose. Have you revised your opinion on it?
-
@Milk-Destroyer Yeah I can't sleep if I don't add spinach, which contains loads of folate. Even if I take 450mcg of clonidine or benadryl or whatever.
You mentioned that you have high adrenaline symptoms, which is similar in a way to insomnia.

A case study showed that an older gentleman developed tachycardia and was found on the floor from 8-9grams of calcium carbonate.

I have taken 30g a day. Nowerdays, when I use it, I use it in split doses with meals and take enough to get a 2:1 ratio, but currently my dietary intake is maybe a 1.1:1 C:P ratio.I think 3 grams is fine, that is roughly 1500mg Calcium.
