      @yerrag Hans did mention that continued use, (though he used a hefty dose) did raise some markers indicating that his gut lining was being stressed, so something to keep in mind. He seemed to think that prolonged use might be fine at a lower dose, and maybe stacked with gut helpful things like bone broth, zinc l carnosine, and vitamin C.

        @evan.hinkle

        Low dosing may be a good way to go about it if Tuinone usage also resulta in endotoxins, as rhe resulting inflammatory and oxidative stress can be minimized, with a longer treatment period. I may even use Tuinone delivered in suppository form to avoid the liver first pass just in case I run into gut issues, though my gut is fairly robust .

        Just ssan aside, so that I can entirely dispense with the effect of endotoxins, I'm getting ready to use endogenous LL-37 peptides to kill microbes without endotoxins being produced. LL-37 is an antiicrobial peptide that is used by produced by neutrophils. It is highly dependent on having sufficient vitamin D and butyric acid. So I have to ensure the0se substrates are sufficient. With butyric acid I have to eat enough resistant starch. I found it is easily created from maimplw carbs like rice potatoes and sweet potatoes, and from eating green bananas.

            Says it's an essential oil form, which means it ia 100% Nigella Sativa oil. Is it 100% thymoquinone or not? Since it doesn't say, I have to assume thymoquinone is a component in it. I have to know rhe thymoquinone percentage in the oil in order to know how many drops to take to get a certain quantity of thymoquinone.

            Nice find though. Thank you.

              100% sativa oil is the stuff being sold everywhere

              the essetnail oil is much different

              Black seed oil (cold-pressed fixed/carrier oil)
              Typical thymoquinone content: 0.5 % – 1.5 % (usually around 1 % or less)

              Black seed essential oil (steam-distilled volatile oil)
              Typical thymoquinone content: 30 % – 60 % (often around 40–50 %) and monoterpenes

                @wester130 Thanks for the explanation. Helps me deal with the different available forms thymoquinone comes in. Seems to me all these forms come with PUFAs in varying degrees, which we in this forum take highly in consideration.

                What is your opinion about using Tuinone, it's pros and cons? When will you prefer it over the other forms? When won't you?

                  @yerrag the benefits are the simplicity and precise measurements of the product

                      @yerrag oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol from olive leaf may be better than black seed

                      have you looked into this

                        @wester130 thank you very much for sharing. I'll look into it, as I haven't seen it mentioned much.
