Hi, I’ve been taking T4 for the past 10 years (50 mcg per day) and haven’t seen any improvement in my hypothyroidism. Recently, I got hold of 5 mcg T3 tablets.

I’m planning to start with 50 mcg T4 + 5 mcg T3, split into two doses of 2.5 mcg.

I suspect I may be running on high adrenaline as my blood pressure is constantly elevated, so I’m a bit concerned about the adrenaline response of the first t3 dose. How can I reduce it?

I’ve also read about a week-long protocol using T3 + T4 to “reset” the system and then stopping altogether (can't find it). Is that viable in my case, given that I’ve been taking T4 for so long?

      Thx

@awawat it's small but just in case: taking it with enough food is vital.
