This has been happening to me recently, and I’m wondering if it’s a sign of a functioning thyroid, or a sign of another issue. If it’s the latter, what’s the best solution to fix it?

RE: Peaty jobs
@MB I’m a beach lifeguard; the job could pay your bills depending on your location and rank. More popular beaches or places that are warm year-round tend to make something closer to a living wage or even salary.
Obviously rookies and the first few years tend to only make minimum wage or slightly above it, but if you take on more serious roles like such as a supervisor you start making a considerable amount of cash. The role can take over a decade(possibly two) to reach, but Captains can make a very comfortable salary as well.

RE: Warm and fuzzy feeling
@lewis this makes me so happy to hear. I’ve definitely noticed some increases in energy over the past few months, but this is has been an entirely new level and amazing feeling.

Warm and fuzzy feeling
Idk how to describe but after following Ray Peat’s dietary advice over the past few months, I think something has been clicking recently after including beef liver and gelatin, and more carbs in my diet. I’ve felt more energetic, random increases in body heat, but more notably warm and fuzzy feelings running up and down my spine and throughout my body. It’s been fantastic.
Is this a sign of my thyroid functioning as it should be? Or is there another explanation for it?

RE: Are zyns Peaty?
@ah thanks for the depth analysis information. Zyns definitely cause gum retention and last time I went to the dentist after a year of zyns my gums were bleeding horribly. I’be also noticed that if I use too many zyns in a day, it starts to upset my stomach and digestive tract.
I personally like cigarettes and cigars, but their smell and horrific effects on your lung keep me away from being a regular user.

Soaking beef liver in milk
I just tried beef liver for the first time today and I feel great. I soaked the liver in milk for two hours prior to cooking it since that’s what I read online, but a mutual of mine on Twitter told me that ruins some of the nutritional content. Is this true, and if not does soaking it make any difference regardless?

RE: Baking Soda before bed
@0uro thank you I appreciate The response. My sleep schedule has been all out of wack over the past month so this might help me get back on track

RE: Baking Soda before bed
@FatRetardPeater there’s no caffeine in baking soda, but based of your @ and posts I’m going to assume you’re trolling

Baking Soda before bed
I recall that Ray Peat said that having a tablespoon of baking soda before bed has benefits, but I can’t seem to find it or recall what they are. Does anyone know what resource I’m referring to, and/or what the benefits are?
