Nitric Oxide_Molecule of Life

Hi Peaters, What is the consensus on Nitric Oxide?
Shout out to RAS on RP forum.
Seems as we age our nitric oxide levels drop so by 60 Years of age it's about HALF that of a 30 Year old.Along time ago I had dabbled with L-Citruline and found the effects pretty good, for some reason I dropped it.
So we can get it from beetroot, L-Arginine, L-Citruline or foods such as watermelon, spinach, arugula, garlic etcetera.
Seems we should be getting 300-400mg, in the USA its no more than 150mgOkay Guys and Girls watch the video and lets have some chat, Peace :

@Not_James_Bond Personally I agree with Ray on the matter!

Baffles me how someone can post something like this on a Ray Peat related forum.
Judging by the 80 iq doctor youtube video you linked, you probably arent familiar with Rays writings on NO.
Which begs the question, why are you asking a forum whats the consensus on it, like everyone here has a Phd in Biology, instead of actually reading Ray's articles and newsletters?Anyways NO is not the molecule of life, its a pro-aging free radical that decreases mitochondrial energy production, and activates processes that lead to cell death, among other things.
The actual "molecule of life", or the non damaging, protective equivalent of NO, is CO2. -
