Dark Theme / Custom Themes

A minor suggestion: different themes for the forum.
No need for intricate design but it would be nice to have better options.
EDIT: As @Peatriot pointed out you can choose your own theme in the settings menu. They're not very good.

If you go into your settings, there are several(too many) options available for themes.

Agreed, I just set up this forum a few hours ago so haven't been able to look into this. If anyone here knows about nodebb theme customization please hop into my DMs.

@brad Maybe set the default theme as one inspired by the old RPF? That one looked nice and warm. I don't think it would be a priority for you right now though

@hansa Yeah, perhaps the background is a bit too blindingly white for people. I'll look into it.

Any other sketchy enjoyers here?

Please beat your addiction to dark themed interfaces. Embrace the light, embrace the sun.

Most people don't realize dark themes are actually harder on the eyes because the pupils constrict resulting in eye strain whilst reading the focusing on the light text. With a light background, the opposite is true but I much prefer a gentle "sepia" background.

@Smitty for anyone wondering this can be accomplished with the dark reader extension, very cozy like reading paper

"cyborg" is a very dark theme, almost too dark though

Vapor skin makes URL text same color as regular text so you cannot tell if something is a link unless clicking on it. Btw.
