A relative of mine partially crushed his L1 spine in an accident but he can still walk. Thank God, his doctor said he can expect a full recovery in a few months, but considering it's a spine injury, I can't help but be cautious.

Any tips or suggestions to maximize recovery? I thought about bone broth, K2 and sun maxxing. I would love to hear strategies or recovery stories from the wise people in this forum.

@oliveoil If I had a bone fracture I would try using PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) or FSM (frequency specific microcurrent) therapy.

Here are a couple of links: (I haven't read; just showing it's out there.)

I have read William Pawluk's books.

I haven't used PEMF for bones, but have a friend who has seen lymphoma nodules shrink to nothing and I have had relief of extreme fatigue from chronic life stress. It's a financial investment. Hope this helps and your relative heals quickly in any case.

I’m an advocate for BPC-157 as it repaired a separated shoulder injury for me that had persisted for years in about a month of use:

I have not personally used it for bone related issues, (although I megadosed it after a fall from a ladder last summer-did I fracture something? Couldn’t tell you, didn’t get an x-ray).

PEMF can double or triple the speed of healing of fractured bones

PEMF therapy postoperatively leads to increased bone density, faster recovery, increased formation of new bone, a further opening of the mouth, and decreased pain.

Ray Peat has spoken about co2 being healing for everything including bones. Specifically it will accelerate carbonate formation.

Ingesting baking soda. Bag breathing. Other co2 therapy. Breathing modalities.

Anything prometabolic will tend to increase co2 too, like thyroid
