So my friend listens to bap's podcast and said to me that he heard from podcast that sperm is toxic and woman who get alot of sperm are in bad health because of it. - it was mentioned in the ray peat carrot salad shilling episode I think

Does this have any reasoning? Intuitively, it seems to me like the reverse would make sense, as woman tend to crave semen from men they like.

@peaty-runescape Not toxic per say, but sperm will fuse with somatic cells to create chimeric cells that seem to disperse around the body quickly, and there are a few studies showing that these chimeric cells proliferate tumors wherever they are concentrated.

@peaty-runescape Intuition tells me they will find that it's not toxic if she's married and the sperm comes from one man.

Thanks for a thorough reply, but looking at the study in the tweet it seems to me "foreign" means different species, like hamster receiveing rat semen.

Also does a method of delivery matter? If its oral or delivered during sex to vagina.

@peaty-runescape Animal studies aside, a weak association between foetal microchimeric cells and cancer has been established in humans, but it is region specific.

This Danish study concluded that the chimeric cells increase cancer risk in the colon but reduce it in the breasts.

I won’t cite them all here but there is a positive correlation with cervical cancer, and in the animal studies spermatozoa-somatic cells seems to proliferate tumors in the heart tissue.

To answer your second question, all of these studies rely on/imply vaginal/uterine absorption, but given some of the findings I wouldn’t be surprised if transdermal or oral exposure has a similar effect.

I know several women that have successfully used the essence as a face cream. I higly doubt that it is toxic. I think it is highly beneficial. I would not be suprised if your health improved, if you used the white gold in smoothies ETC.

@peaty-runescape pretty sure its an immune suppressant from that awful AIDS "conspiracy" documents that show that semen in butts suppresed immune system to the point that random infection was life threatening. They havent yet found an unique distinct AIDS virus under a microscope.

Well it contains prostaglandins, which are not very peaty so to say 😄 also in rare cases it can be immunogenic, even mainstream medicine admits it. Oral/anal sex might trigger immune response, and might cause your body to create antibodies against sperm-cells, and cause infertility. But as i said, that’s pretty rare
