How do you define richness from a bioenergetic point of view?
-
I think richness has more to do with intelligence, diet, abudance of a variety of foods including occasional caviar, time available, nice natural furniture/rugs/blankets, being able to preserve your age, attention and desire from the opposite sex than it has to do with the amount of USD someone has. Pretty much everything people try and obtain with money, some of these things people with multiple millions DON'T have. NPC theory, people in mansions are ordering doordash junk food.

Hi, I suggest that richness is a feeling, from my experience what contributes the most to this feeling is that we tend to the highest degree of energy, relaxation, well being,
of serenity when it comes to the future, whether the things we'll have access to that we consider important for our well-being, or our perception of potential future events and our ability to be part of it without to much stress and negative emotions
Ultimately, diet, certain life factors, the people we live with, are the things that contribute the most to a feeling of richness

Money is overvalued for several reasons.
Thorstein Veblen pointed out that people tend to overvalue money because it is easy to display towards others. Moreover, it is easy to make judgement based on a fiscal number. It is harder to judge more important things like a meaningful life.
Schopenhauer pointed out that people tend to overvalue money as they think money will give them X, which it seldom to never does. For instance fat people think they would be thin if they had more wealth. Stupid people think their children will be well educated if they go to an expensive school. People think that financial resources will solve non-financial problems/deficiencies.
Money is also overvalued as we do not calculate in the effect of the hedonic treadmill. The joyus effect of spending money last for a very short time, before we start wanting something else. You see many people with high stress levels who opperates on the basis of primitive brain fear. Upper-middle class people often act like they are starving and that more resources is what's needed to set things right in their life. "Not what we have But what we enjoy, constitutes our abundance".
Health and spiritual wholeness seems to be the most important things in this life. Schopenhauer said: The greatest of follies is to sacrifice health for any other kind of happiness.
Richness lies in genetic quality, a friendly and inspiring environment, spiritual wholeness, familiar comfort, and good prospects. -

@Norwegian-Mugabe Love this!

True, I think of it as the feeling of "abundance" and I think of money as just one frequency out of the many frequencies that exist to signal abundance to the Universe.
One man can have many women, and give off the frequency that he has an abundance of women - in this case it becomes easier for him to attract and obtain even more women since he is abundant.
One man can have a lot of money, and give off the frequency that he has an abundance of money - in this case it becomes easier for him to attract and obtain money since he emits that frequency of abundance . It's a lot easier to get to 100k if one already has 50k then it is if someone started from 0 trying to get to 50k even though its the same amount of money in both scenarios.
One man can have an abundance of good looks and it becomes easier for him to become even more good-looking since he is emitting that frequency.
I think having an abundance of any frequency makes it more likely for that specific frequency to become more attracted to you.
Can't remember who made this quote, but it went something like:
"If magnetism creates electricity, then it must be true that electricity can create magnetism"
which is true, in any which case, I believe that if someone is suffering from a lack of frequency such as money but genuinely believes and shifts themselves into a mindset of them already being a millionaire, they will begin to attract more money as a frequency.
Anyway, no woman likes wealthy men that are ugly and subsequently, I don't think many of them enjoy an attractive men who has no money (severely lacking in an important frequency). I think its healthy to be at least all-around have your bases covered for different frequencies.

Having some USD does help with most of the things you listed though.
Sure, there are wealthy people who don't know how to actually live well. But there are even more poor people who might know it but cannot use this knowledge in practice. You will not have a good diet if you rely on kindness of strangers for your nutrition. I would like to eat caviar, oysters and shrimp but these just won't fit in a $10k a year budget.
I would say bioenergetic "richness" might be considered an inverse of amount of inescapable stress you must endure in your life; that in turn relies on minimizing the amount of stress and maximizing your ability to deal with it. Money helps with both, even if many wealthy people don't use it that way.

Richness is living in a plentiful environment. Plentiful in energy, plentiful in allies, plentiful in opportunities. This allows organisms to risk more and to live leisurely because even if they fail their environment will save them. They can exert much more energy without risk of death.
A poor environment means always having to overreact to threats because every threat can kills, being unable to build up reserves.
Competing for rich environments is the most foundational instinct of any biological being, always affecting every single cell in your body. Shrimps do it. Lizards do it. Birds do it. Humans do it.
Money itself is not part of being rich, but having money allows one to access such environments so it is sometimes a good proxy. (If you are brave enough to leave behind the hostile environment in which you earned it, which most wage-slaves aren't.)

i want money because otherwise i will have to work in a dank, damp warehouse for 10 hours a day until i get cancer and die
if i had a lot of money i would see cool places and do cool things i don't have the money or time to
stupid thread by upper middle class and coping neets with autism
-
@Ray-Van-Winkle You could see cool places and do cool things without having much money. You are the one coping. Moreover, most people need some kind of work to balance their lives. Only a few select people like myself are suited for luxury.
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe only N or R life would get worse if they had + 1 million dollars
-
@Ray-Van-Winkle There are studies on lottery winners and most do not end up better in any way shape or form. There are several good God-given reasons for why you are where you are. Amor Fati, retard.
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe i was calling you upper middle class, not neet with autism btw
-
@Ray-Van-Winkle All I am trying to convey is my endless love for my fellow beings. I think it is a mistake to think "if only I had more money my problems would be solved". This is learned helplessness. You can improve all the important aspects of your life dramatically without more money. The upper-middle class is generally not thriving either. They usually work more hours here in Norway and has poor health and suffer from atomisation. I am not saying that resources are inconsequential, but they are overhyped for the reasons I wrote about in my first post on this thread.
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe because you live in a country where the standard of living is pretty much the same for engineers and part-time fry cooks and the main reason to get a good job is high serotonin/learned helplessness
u already are rich from birth, if u lived somewhere shit you'd think different, like if you were forced to live on rice fried in canola oil with random plants mixed in
-
@Ray-Van-Winkle Yes I would have thought differently, but that does not mean that I would have been more right. This thread is also not about rice-pickers, but about regular westerners who want to live richly.
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe fair, ik what kind of person you're talking about, those npcs disgust me

This is incredibly real. Low frequency people given money will still live in filth and squalor, and waste their fortune on trivial distractions.
The goal is to live a charmed life. The life you save could be your own.
