I've been struggling with dandruff for years and it's gotten extremely bad now, plus my hair is falling out very quickly... Anyone go through this and totally cure it? I imagine it's gut related as I have white tongue

@kenji The past winter my hair was thin, brittle and fell out easily. Scalp was itchy, flakey, and sometimes bled when I picked at it. I've always had thick hair, but there was visible thinning at the crown of my head that I'd never had previously. I was upset!

From my research it's likely a fungal issue (malassezia), and thankfully it can be fixed.

Internally: 3 grains of thyroid, ACV and oil of oregano. Eat more sugar. When your metabolism is low, your hair is superfluous to the body, and it will fall out.

        External protocol:

        1. 10 mins with raw egg in hair
        2. rinse
        3. 10 mins with Bloo in hair
        4. rinse
        5. 10-15 mins red light

ACV and GHK-Cu serum overnight may have helped a bit. A good shower filter doesn't hurt either.

The thinning at the crown of my head is no longer visible at all. My hair is thick and luscious again.

@onliest THANK YOU! I suspect this is exactly my issue. I ordered Cynomel from mexico a couple days ago but haven't got confirmation it shipped yet. Hopefully it's on the way, I followed all the instructions.
I have a bottle of TyroMix that I've used on and off but failed to stay consistent with it (apparently not a good thing to do with T3/T4 mixtures) because I thought it was giving me issues. Need some good T3 asap, thought about ordering Tyronene but I figured just wait for the cynomel. Thanks again, I need my thick hair back, my hair's almost as thin as my dad's now it's bad lol (I'm 27)

@onliest Do you think using Tyromix in the mean time is a good idea or just wait for the T3 only?

@onliest can you elaborate on the GHK-Cu serum?

This pub medical article makes it sound like a miracle substance:

@Sunniva It's a trendy peptide right now for repair and growth but definitely needs more research. Some vendors that sell it claim it blocks DHT in the scalp but I'm quite skeptical of that.

I made a homemade 1% serum with saline and vegetable glycerin. Rub a few drops on my face and scalp before I go to bed.

@kenji I used tyromix as well, but will order tyronene when my bottle runs out. Make sure you are eating enough carbs when you are on it.

Regrowing hair from an infection like malassezia is way easier than regrowing from chronically elevated stress hormones/poor metabolism. Summer is coming too which means much more hair growth.

@kenji Also avoid coconut oil. Malassezia has lipases that can break it down and feed on it.

I forgot this last night and my scalp is itchy today.
