The powers that be don’t like infinite potential in the hands of everyday people.

Can't agree more with this. it is likely why Ray Peat's work was targeted in the first place

I guess what I'm getting bogged down in is the timing and methods used to do this and how it might relate to the upcoming US election, which seems critical to the outcome and future of all of this in these post-COVID times when so many critical issues are being raised that the powers that be find extremely inconvenient.

There are more than two choices in the upcoming election.

To expand on what I said earlier:
Charlie’s whole “Jesus is coming back to save America, not eating vitamin A is part of that” shtick is undeniably evangelical-esque at the very least.

The average person views evangelicals (IMO rightfully) as lunatics. However, at the same time they are incredibly useful to the present political establishment. Evangelicals also are dispensationalist heretics and as a result are the largest demographic bloc of Israel supporters in the US. Now it seems Thor Torrens is involved with Israel as well? And affiliated with a political administration propped up by evangelicals? Which is up to potentially be elected this year? Too perfect. Surely I need not remind of the connection between the pharmaceutical lobby and Israel lobby… (they are practically the same)

Frankly, this whole thing is clearly a sloppy intelligence/media complex op, done for obvious reasons by obvious suspects. I’ll refrain from elaborating further since it’s outside the scope of this forum and I don’t want to get myself or anyone else in trouble.

      1. see threat to establishment narrative
      1. torpedo it
      1. redirect stragglers to politically useful narrative

I have seen this play out so many times with online communities for all kinds of subjects.

Let's just say I've been on both sides of the Israel issue and have come to the conclusion that it is yet another tool used by the powers that be for their convenience to divide us politically and maintain the status quo for the uniparty by playing us against each other. The ongoing Palestinian/Israeli conflict is the political gift that keeps on giving.

That's very interesting. This is new to me, as Ray Peat was the only person who intrigued me enough to deep dive into his work. Before that I was reading little memes and sponsored tidbits of 'health news' and randomly trying various supplements, etc, all the while being in relatively good health. I just happened to find Peat when I had what I see now as a 'metabolic crisis'.. I read "The Great Fish Oil Experiment" and got hooked. I had been taking fish oil for a decade.

What do you mean by this? Are you just talking about the most recent events? Because Israel and Palestine have been going at it for a long time. I think this is really more of a divider on the American right than anywhere else. Most people on the left (outside of corporate democrats) stand pretty much in solidarity with Palestine. I'll refrain from giving my personal views on it as well, but lets just say, insufferable pricks like Ben Shapiro routinely like to weaponize their Jewish status as a means for identifying and calling out antisemitism .When in reality, more times than not, the people charged with antisemitism were usually just being critical of vulgar Israeli nationalism and human rights violations.

I come from the left but can see that the IDL has become more of a tool for the DNC, and has been weaponized as such to call out 'anti-semitism' at any perceived or invented slight and as an excuse for censorship. They don't do Jews any favor. I'd rather not get into it here, I just see loads of propaganda on both sides (where the left only perceives it from the right), and find the current admin's policy of playing both sides to be irreconcilable.

Sorry, it's not the IDL, I've got my acronyms messed up. Whatever the democratic org is that polices 'anti-semitic" speech on the left is who I'm referring to. Can anybody help me out?

You just don't get it...Ray was a CIA operative who's goal was to wreck the legume industry and get people to stop eating beans. Charlie has been eating 6 cups of beans daily and social distancing has never been easier for him! Fauci would be amazed how effortlessly people stay at least 6 feet away from him at all times. Detoxing toxic bile is how you avoid covid 🤣

@C-Mex I gotcha, yeah I think it's the ACLU you're thinking about. I don't know why, but I just assumed when you said you were on both sides of that issue at one point you might had been one of those Zionist conservatives who started realizing they pulled the same type of crap with antisemitism the woke progressives on the left pull with transphobia and other shit.

That Thor Torrens fella is hilarious. He's one of those pathetic Trump pussybeggers who have a desperate need to prove they were part of his inner circle because they have nothing else to rely on, They'd call Trump daddy if he told them to.

Spent a day at Jay-Z's house. lol. Is this guy 15 years old?

His eyes have that stressed, hypothyroid, too much cortisol look to them and the cocksure attitude of a cliched wannabe finance/influencer/bitcoin bro who knows deep down he probably isn't going to 'make it'. Boring people who obsesses over social media strategies and the 'grind'.

Who the fuck would want to be like that?

                                Now back to this story:
                                Hey All Ya'll and saturnuscv
@saturnuscv said in New "Mission" of RPF:

Kind of hard to explain what I mean by this but Ray’s philosophy and research is really “infinite” in terms of potential compared to something like carnivore which is just a reductive lifestyle and is already “solved.” The powers that be don’t like infinite potential in the hands of everyday people.

For me, from the beginning of my interest into Ray Peat's ideas, was a dive into his website articles for the first few years. He was seemingly Wholistic, as far as can be morphed by my puny brain, in his approach to the bio systems. And I am coming from a TCM point of view! Anyhow, when I heard Ray discuss cell structure and energy, and then other aspects of how it all works, I was chuffed. (means 'cool and excited' sorta downunder).

Ray's connecting of the proverbial dots relating to the "Learned Helplessness" Epidemic and excess serotonin, low thyroid, etc.. . And this is an accident of modern life: nutrition/agribusiness/pharma?

Not only what we eat, but the whole matrix of input around us: Cultural/Societal, TV and now 'Puter, emf in the airwaves... . People's attention spans are becoming shorter and shorter. Not just that but when do modern people perceive? As in just be.... not necessarily meditating, but looking at the sky, or listening to rain?

Ray appreciated life and art, was a great thinker who could think his own thoughts (and not regurgitate others' thoughts), and was a maverick who championed others to be more healthy and free. Of course one not need to be paranoid to see that the State does not want anyone to get away from them. Freedom, health, and unlimited creative energy is 'too much' for the status quo regime makers. Just that is considered dangerous, imo, so then the bots and bad actors get the memo to attack and destroy. Just what I see.

but does food have limits? I think the problem is how its grown. poor nutrient devoid soil

no micronutrients = plants cant make vitamins to move up the food chain

if the farmer just adds nitrogen fertiliser its not really a solution

most people on earth other than the ones living in farming areas and with real knowledge might actually not have tried real nutritious food...

Maybe if you use all parts of the animal as a source of thyroid. Antihistamines and antibiotics are hard for some to do without and are pretty safe.
