Fatigue, limb pains and unrefreshing sleep. Took 100mg today immediately relaxed my body and went to sleep.

Interesting , that doesnt necesarily have to be b1 deficiency, but if it helps... I might try that too, since I also had unrefreshing sleep from taking it, although it got less intense with every time I took it.
I think if someone has serious health issues that dont seem to go away and has tried "everything else" then this is worth a try.
If the theory behind it is true then MoA is safe as well. -
These 5 case studies are super interesting.
Although done by the owner of the supplement company that produces MCP. -
Hmm.. Bit skeptical now. What about one that isn't done by him.
Hopefully this isn't a trap to kill people seeking alternative treatments.
But it's really been slowly changing my life so you know... Maybe not all total bs

@Mauritio
https://raypeatforum.com/community/threads/b-coagulans-decreases-endotoxin-liver-fibrosis-and-serotonin.39609/post-624195I'm currently reading about the impact of soil bacteria on human health. Like eating unwashed vegetables with soil on them sort of thing... Crazy or not idk but going to make a post about it soon.
-
Wow. Holy shit. Call me crazy
Just ate a teaspoon of soil and I have a taste in my mouth that is almost identical to the grass fed meat I buy which comes from a farm who places SO MUCH priority on their soil health. Probably means my soil contains the right microbes to be healthy if it works for their sheep and cattle.
I almost crave the soil I just ate. Let's see what happens.
Wondering if I should just eat raw vegetables, raw meat, raw milk, kefirs, raw chocolate for a week to try fix the gut. Sounds insane but when you really look it up even salmonella makes B vitamins in the gut so stay open minded always.... Its important

This might help too
sorry for spamming the thead I feel totally manic any time I get a small surge of energy... mercury really does a number on you... eating spoons of soil man wtf

Oi oi
I'm looking into bamboo silica for aluminium now. You taken this before?
maybe not much to do with candida but if it helps gets a calm mind to detox aluminium out the brain then that can help with candida/digestion issues no?
-
@Mauritio interesting one , & looks effective for many metals (patented product mentioned but plenty of mention of pectin use for this all over)
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/6949457_The_effect_of_modified_citrus_pectin_on_urinary_excretion_of_toxic_elements
^
also cadmium & arsenic with main effect on lead as mentioned. (BUT this urinary excretion isnt as good as it sounds given by the modified form, the % increases are still low absolute amounts excreted by urine)and this one stood out, normal apple pectin also works (here its used to lower radioactive Caesium levels in children exposed to contaminated food in Chernobyl. and given without any more contaminated food so it didnt only block absorption of new toxic metals it helped actively eliminate them:
Reducing the 137Cs-load in the organism of "Chernobyl" children with apple-pectin
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/14745664/- "In this clean radiological environment only radiologically "clean" food is given to the children. The average reduction of the 137Cs levels in children receiving oral pectin powder was 62.6%, the reduction with "clean" food and placebo was 13.9%, the difference being statistically significant (p <0.01). "
(i'd bet would increase zinc copper & iron elimination too though so probably not best long term, but maybe good for a cycle to get rid of some stuff)

@questforhealth i think the only form that works for aluminium is water soluble form silicic acid found naturally in water+10mg sicilic acid might be associated with lower incidence of alzheimers going by a review
& (water soluble form)
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/0140673693923019going by intervention studies fiji water has enough for an effect on 500ml a day ~45mg.
volvic mineral water should have just enough in 1L at 32mg
(similar to spritzer at 35mg/L)https://vaccinepapers.org/wp-conten...Aluminum-Hypothesis-in-Alzheimers-Disease.pdf
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5832610/
apparently fish in water with high concentration of sicilic acid have low aluminium in their bodies
-
but the bamboo plant is a living thing so the silica in it must be water soluble no? because it needs to move the mineral around inside the body system?
-
@questforhealth yeh tho i think the bamboo takes up water soluble silicic acid then processes it into silicon dioxide then that form is sold as silica (instead of the silicic acid needed which u can get from some mineral waters)
-
ahhhh that makes sense

@cs3000 https://bioenergetic.forum/post/16234
That study for -62% reduction was 3 weeks , 5g apple pectin powder x2 daily with food and 15% of that as pectin, so 0.75g apple pectin x2 daily in children. no age/bodyweight given maybe 2x - 4x dose for adults
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/8900434_Reducing_the_137Cs-load_in_the_organism_of_Chernobyl_children_with_apple-pectin
impressive for something natty & such a low amount -
Hey this seems pretty awesome
Does this mean I can buy jars of apple sauce and eat them and it can help me out too?
I do believe in citrus pectin though. Very powerful product.
when you think about how bad heavy metals mess you up the modified stuff is well worth the price. What is £100 for a lifetime of peace?
Makes me wonder if this is why old people like eating marmalade so much
-
Hey, great to see you back (here)!
@cs3000 said in The relationship between Candida infections and heavy metal toxicity:
normal apple pectin also works
do you know the MoA ? Eventhough they have a similar name ,apple pectin and MCP are quite different, in the sense that MCP is absorbed and pectin is not.
Interesting on silicic acid.
Gerolsteiner has about 50mg per liter and I drink about 1.5l of that per day so should be getting a decent dose from it. -
Is that the same silica from supplements that we are trying to avoid?
-
@Mauritio - no. Professor Exley recommends silicon water.
Non-invasive therapy to reduce the body burden of aluminium in Alzheimer's disease

@Mauritio
hi yeah likewiseon MOA [first i read apple pectin can increase absorption of some polyphenols (e.g quercetin 2x) where other polyphenols get hindered. but as typically small amounts in food i wouldnt expect to make that much difference from double absorption probably not very relevant]
So likely through preventing re-absorption in the gut from bile & mucosa shedding is enough for significant effect without doing it direct in the bloodstream (for certain metals)
maybe optimal to do a blend of both modified form + apple form for different mechanisms and skew towards different metals? Looks like lead is a commonality, (might lower copper a lot too tho, but less so in presence of lead "Lee and Yang (1997) studied Cu binding by pectin rich apple waste and found that ionic strength did not cause significant differences in metal ion binding capacity.
They also found that the presence of co-ions such as lead decreased the removal of Cu due to competition")This one mentions mechanism of action being preventing reabsorption with bile that circulates
A blend of citrus & apple pectin also reduced pesticides in blood to almost 0 https://www.romj.org/2013-0306
- On the base of the research we can ascertain that citrus and apple pectin “Medetopekt” reduce resorbtion of heavy metals and organochlorine pesticides, accelerate eliminating of these substances from an organism.
- It is well known that organochlorine pesticides are eliminated from an organism with bilis, and pectins bind bile acids in intestine, and by that cause eliminating of pesticides. Insoluble compounds in natural enterosorbents improve intestinal function. Moreover, at acute chronic pancreatitis pectins reduce hyperenzymemia
I was thinking maybe modified form would be better for mercury seeing mercury is sticky in the brain. but study here said apple pectin also helped reverse mercury toxicity https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10198961/ and functional impact
(russian translation "vegetative regulation" looks like it means nervous system measures improved from the apple pectin removing mercury e.g heart & reflexes https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26369239/
@questforhealth interesting connect about the marmalade yeh , i read a case report where some woman was intuitively eating like 20g salt worth of soy sauce and lots of licorice each day , which turned out was keeping her body functioning in a disease i think it was addisons
