I'm taking aspirin now for about a month. I'm not taking that much at all. About the amount of 2-3 baby aspirins. I just use a powder from healthnatura that came with a baby aspirin scoop. I take about 2.

Yesterday I accidentally cut myself and it just kept on bleeding. Today it's bleeding again. Maybe I just hit a bad spot, but it made me think.

Is it recommended to take Vitamin K with aspirin. If so what source and what kind of vitamin K?
Links to articles would be appreciated too.

      Thank you.

@happyhanneke I take 1mg vit K2 per 325mg Aspirin tablet I consume. Some days I will take a couple grams of aspirin and have never had a bleeding issue.

Health natura, idealabs, forefront health all sell K2.

Dr. Peat said well cooked Kale every other day would provide enough vitamin K when using aspirin. The body is able to covert K1 found in leafy greens to other forms of vitamin K.

Does cooking destroy the antinutrients and goitrogens?

I'm debating whether to plant kale this year...

@questforhealth Not entirely but it does reduce it considerably

Do you know what vegetarian foods have most vit K2 other than egg yolk and dairy?

Fermented soy is relatively safe in small quantities (organic not GMO)

I heard gut bacteria make K2 as well.... I know parsley has a lot of vit K2 and I have parsley in the garden so I've been eating the muddy roots straight from the ground to possibly get the bacteria that make K2 in my gut... We have a interesting thread about soil and gut bacteria... It's been shown taht people who garden or farm or get their hands dirty have better gut microbes

I've had euphoria for days from eating muddy vegetables no matter how disgusting it sounds nature can be a big helper....
