It also gives me heart palpitations. On another forum that is Ray Peat related they told me to up the dose.
Which I’m not going to do. I’m upset as it is.
      I also take vitamin B3 and 6

@happyhanneke I was reading the other day and stumbled across a paper that said progesterone tells the body to store white fat. I've noticed more anabolic effects from lower doses and fat gain on higher doses.

If I had to guess, I'd think the DHEA is causing heart palpitations. On the other hand, I had to do a lot to recover my health and many things gave me palpitations (that no longer do) as my heart beat became more regular and stronger. That said, DHEA can become estrogen so I'd stay on the side of caution and try a lower dose, if possible.

Progest-e made me fat too (I am 42) and it took several months to get the weight off again. I started at a high dose as I read that this would lessen side effects but it didn't seem to work for me. I had previously used a progesterone cream with no weight gain.

Thank you! Your reply makes me happy.
I’m not the only one. I’m sure it will take me a while to lose the fat but I gave it a try. No more though.

@NotShanalotte thanks. I have had irregular beats on and off in my life so they don’t really scare me. However after menopause I basically hardly ever had it anymore. So it does make sense that it comes back with hormone use.
