      Wanted to share the drastic improvements in many markers of health I experiences switching from a vegan diet to peating. I will include some examples of blood tests that improved below. I was supplementing vitamin D3 and Thyroid as well. The time in between these tests was a little less than one year.

      [Vegan]
      TSH: 2.96 mU/ml
      T3: 1.82 pmol/L
      Testosterone: 327 ng/dL
      Ferritin: 975 ng/mL

      [Peat]
      TSH: <0.005 mU/ml
      T3: 6.71 pmol/L
      Testosterone: 675 ng/dL
      Ferritin: 86 ng/mL

        Excellent

        May I ask a few questions for context?

        • how long vegan?
        • what was peating for you?
        • did you track your temps?
        • why switch diets? What was the reason for the change?
        • age?
        • why supplement? How much mcg of thyroid? Are you still supplementing?
        • lastly: what was your kilocalories being a vegan versus your Kcal with your current diet?

        Thank you

          @Peatful
          how long vegan? 1 1/2 Years
          what was peating for you? Avoiding Pufa, Low Starch, High Calc:Phosphate. Milk, OJ, Eggs, Butter, Cheese, Fruit, Coffee, Red Light etc.
          did you track your temps? Yes, they increased from as low as 95 to now averaging over 99 degrees farrenheit
          why switch diets? What was the reason for the change? The main issue with veganism at first was the hard digestion. Gas, bloating, etc. Than my health continued to decline with low libido, brittle hair, acne, hypothyroidism. So i knew i had to make the Change.
          age? 20
          why supplement? How much mcg of thyroid? Are you still supplementing? My pulse and temps were so low that i couldnt raise them with diet alone. I am still supplementing but i plan to get off eventually as an experiment. Currently 72 mcg T4, 36 mcg T3.
          lastly: what was your kilocalories being a vegan versus your Kcal with your current diet? Same calories. Around 3500 to 4000

            @Andrewㅤ

            Thx for each response

            Very interesting that you could consume 4000kcal while vegan
            No wonder your gut was suffering right?

            If you eventually get off the supplemental thyroid
            Please post back here

            And congratulations to your health
