      Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately about 6 weeks ago my daughter broke her femur when a family member slipped while carrying her going down the stairs. She was 4 months old when the accident happened. The good news is the bone has already healed and she got her brace off after only 4 weeks.

My worry now is her growth plate. The Orthopedic doctor she’s been seeing said the likelihood of her growth plate being damaged is low because of where the break happened but I'm still concerned. I know growth plates injuries in young children can potentially cause stunted growth. Does anyone know about pediatric growth plate injuries and what to expect? Has Ray ever discussed this topic? I want to do whatever I can to help her recovery process.

      Thanks 🙏

        If this were my baby
I would possibly consider gelatin, bone broth and or collagen

Thank you so much! We’re lucky I’m on here asking about a broken leg and nothing something much worse.

Good idea, I’ll buy oxtail next time I’m at the grocery store so I can prepare broth for her.

all the stuff peatful recommended plus both mk4 and mk7 forms of k2 and obv the other fat solubles

dietary silicon is also important for this kind of stuff. cucumbers with skin on, whole French green beans, bamboo shoots, all have good amounts of silicon.

@sneedful Thanks for the feedback! Any recommendations on dosage and how to give it to her? I’m guessing topically?
