      Hello all,
I came from that other now very odd forum. Nice to see this one going. My question is regarding male and female fertility. My husband and I conceived our very healthy and bright son in the first go at (me) 35 and (he) 53. I had been eating well and supplementing a bit, he just followed my diet sort of, being that I buy the food and do most of the cooking. And I’ve harped on him for years about PUFAS, which he’s on board but not as strict as I am.

I breastfed for about 2 years and gently weaned, and now we’ve been attempting to conceive our 2nd for a few months now. I realize this isn’t Very long, but at our ages now (me) 38, (he) 56, I’m not wasting any time.

My cycles have been somewhat irregular, and I’m having spotting for days before my cycle begins. Along with cramping and breast pain, fatigue and moods. I do take Progest e after ovulation, but I could be more consistent with it. I also take vit e, baby aspirin, and vit d and some niacinamide. I use a red light on my thyroid and face, and lower belly some mornings. I also cycle in organs and oysters. We eat lots of raw Parmesan, and enjoy plenty of eggs, butter, red meat, shellfish, gelatin, Oj, cottage cheese, ice cream… we’ve been off the carrot salad lately. Might give the cooked mushrooms a go.

So I will say, his libido has changed… we have a very active toddler and that is draining no doubt, and we are not going through the most financially stable time in our lives right now unfortunately l, and I know this affects him more than me. He is very healthy for 56, most people would guess late forties. He’s active and if anything, a smidge underweight. He could eat more. We both could use more regular walks and sunshine, maybe some weight lifting. Also, I wonder about his prostate, sometimes he urinates for a very… very long time. Almost like it’s a struggle. I’m sure he should have it checked.

      Any simple suggestions?

I’m thinking of doing some of Georgie’s mineral/ steroid/ thyroid analysis in the new year for both is us.

      Here’s a list of sups I’m considering -
      Quinton isotonic
      Cascara sagrada
      Vit b complex
      Thyroid
      Pregnenolone ?
      Dhea ?
      Thiamine
      Shilajit
      Progest -e
      Serrapeptase
      Inositol jarrow
      Vit k
      Lactoferrjn
      Charcoal
      Taurine
      Yolks drink
      Pearl

Any advise or suggestions are much appreciated! I realize his age might shock some in light of trying to conceive. It may not be in the cards for us, and I will have to accept that eventually. But I owe it to our son to at least be as healthy as we can reasonably be, and that goes for any other child we may conceive. I guess I just feel hopeful that if he was able to conceive with em 3 years ago, theoretically he still can.

Hans (menelite) is the guy to talk to about male health. Hans got his own natural T up to like 1200ng/dl.

Definitely not in my totally innocent experience. A man can turn himself in to a rabid animal with the right salt/sugar concentration and water restriction. Assuming the rest of the diet and behaviour are sound. Conduct some experiments.

Amazing article. I was a salt fiend while pregnant and nursing. Will be experimenting thank you! This is the kind of mommy-MKUltra experimentation I’m conducting over here. Less lsd and torture, more sugar and salt and lovin’. Haha
