Traveling with Meds

Has anyone traveled on a plane with thyroid and/or meds bought from online pharmacies? Did you leave it in checked or carry-on and did they ask any questions?

I have friends of mine do this all the time if they go to Mexico.
It's never been a problem. You can do carry on but I would think it's even less of a problem if you check it. -
@Hollowed I’ve brought a couple bottles flying across the border before. No issues.
I’d imagine things get suspicious the more you carry
