@LetTheRedeemed I don't know...I tried vit D/K for some time but there was no negative or positive effect. Are you sure it wasn't placebo in your case?

@Jaffe before I dive in, are you saying the results have been permanent with that? Not doubting

@tubert I think it’s a case by case basis. I’m sure a lot of folks don’t have the same problem, but I’m sure many people with lifelong nutrient deficiencies will definitely have regional deficiencies that get ameliorated by topical vitamins.

But hey, placebo or not, that feeling’s worth a placebo, hah…

          Yes.

The PE of today is way different than, say, a decade ago. A lot of the old BS got washed out.

Just like with bodybuilding, you get results when you stick with a routine.

@lobotomize-me Might've gotten varicocele from that myself, Vitamin K2 MK-7 + D3 + E topically down there and a good amount of drops orally. Before getting varicocele, on days I didn't apply it I had better blood flow for some reason, currently trying to see what can be done to fix this, I quit the supplementation for that reason

@abokapo0514 👍 vit k is still useful so i will recommend applying it to the wrist (vit d optional)

@LetTheRedeemed It was a big mistake on my part, shouldn't have done it.
MK7 (Menaquinone-7) usually comes from natto or fermented dairy products with the specific bacteria strains involved, whereas MK4 (menaquinone-4, shorter half life but I would say safer and better) comes from animal sources, personally I wish I would've went with the MK4 variant since I doubt it would cause any harm, but better would be to just consume anything supplement wise via diet rather than supplement.

                      Menaquinone-7

As a 63 Year old Male I wouldn't touch Menaquinone-7, its half-life is 72 hours (3 days) and 'Accumulates too' I think it has a role with Magnesium and Potassium also, no beuno

I suppose you want my advise on MK7.
K2 MK7 is very fragile (oxidized in 3 months) if not protected (caps).
Since half-life of MK7 is more of less 72 hours, your body would have to manage excess quinones, even when MK7 is in good state. So, no liquid form.
There are other sources of quinones (...).
Chris Masterjohn has developed the benefits of the two forms.
                        Personally I take 1 drop MK4 at breakfast (short-life => 2x/d if needed). Optimal with 14 - 25 - 33 g fat (proportional).
At midday, I take 1 softgel D3 (5000 in winter time); 2 000 UI in summertime when I stay at home for several days.
Once a week I take 10 000 UI retinol palmitate. It should be 2X/wk if we want to balance vit A and Vit D. No need and I don't like HD vit A.

@Wabi-sabi thankfully it isn't permanent accumulation, and it does gradually start to return to baseline after stopping supplementation (same can be said for Vitamin D).
