I have all the high estrogen serotonin symptoms
I can’t digest anything not easily at least.
My stomach always feels like it is hurting ,irritated and I’m constipated. (SIBO I think )
I can’t digest dairy and starch.

How can I heal my gut ?
Do I just need to eat really simple/fast for months and then the bad bacteria will die off because it isn’t being fed?
However It feels impossible to get even 1500 calories because 90percent of foods irritate my gut besides berries and carrots
Really don’t know what to eat.
And I don’t want to jump into antibiotics

@gg12 aspirin, flowers of sulfur/sulphur, and coconut oil work as antibiotics but are nowhere as toxic. You might want to try one or more of them.
Also I think some where you posted that you were on ssri drugs. If that’s the case you might want to get off of them. They are it seems for the most part problematic.

@gg12 I really like Aloe Vera juice for your symptoms. Any health food store will have it in big glass jugs. Get one that says “inner leaf.” Very soothing to the digestive tract. Helps get you pooping. 2 tablespoons before a meal. Couple times a day. Much more gentle then cascara sagrada but that would be the next step for combating constipation.
Food juices to help are organic canned b green beans or peas. Heated up with butter and lots of salt. Goes great with canned oysters. Very soft easily digested foods.
Kefir from A2 milk is very very helpful even 6oz or whatever you can handle. And of coarse making your own chicken noodle soup would be easy to tolerate. Carrot onion celery in chicken broth. Salty. Some people live of of homemade chicken stock for months until they get thier digestion working again. Similar with Kefir or goats milk Kefir. Very sustaining restorative foods.

@16characterstwas no I am off them almost a year now and they fucked my gut motility so badly. Apparently it is quite common. Really woke me up to a lot of things

@dapose oh my that sounds amazing I will def try.
                Two questions tho
is it a good idea to have kefir if I can’t proscces dairy tho ?
I don’t want to feed bad bacteria and most kefir seems to be marketed as “probiotic” and having a ton of bacteria.

Also should I be concerned about not getting a lot of calories while eating so simply ? I don’t want to starve myself

This is something you could try: Ayurvedic food combining. You can skip the text and go straight to the food combining chart.

If it works, you can later try making "wrong" food combinations and see how you feel. Fruit and cheese is a bad combination according to the chart, but I eat dates with feta quite frequently without issues.

Another thing to try is to keep some space between meals. Having ~3 hours between meals is usually enough for me, but some people might need more time.

Keeping meals simple can also be helpful--if for nothing else, at least to make it easier to notice when something doesn't agree with your body. I usually have 1-3 food items per meal. For example: dates with feta, which is 2; just dark chocolate, which is 1 (yes, I have just dark chocolate as a meal); or oat bread with butter and cheese, which is 3.

It may take a few weeks to notice improvements in gut function.

@gg12 said in Gut issues but I can’t go to doctor:

Does juice irritate your gut too? Drinking juice between meals--1 hour before or after--works well for me. I usually have a somewhat poor appetite, so it's a bit difficult for me to get enough calories from meals alone, without drinking juice between them.
