@sushi_is_cringe if 4mg Cypro makes you look like a dipshit you might have bigger problems kiddo.
Try eucalyptus oil with some beef tallow instead. Or Benadryl works better for me.
Also Rishi mushroom extract.

RE: Who's still doing a PUFA depletion detox diet? (long terms results, hopes dreams, future plans)
@heretoday I am Pufa avoidant! Best noticeable change is I don’t sunburn. I work outside and don’t use sunscreen. I’ve been low ish Pufa for along time before I found rays work. WAPF paleo ish, vegetarian ish for 20 years but ate tons of nuts. Lots of avocados etc. I would get sunburns if I wasn’t mindful about building my tan and sun tolerance…. Now 4 years into Rays work. It took me and probably others that came from meaty carnivore ish way of eating along time to rap my Pufa filled brain around the idea of lowering pufa. I just thought well I’m not cooking or adding seed oil to my food 3 meals a day so I’m good right? Idk I think it pays off to make the extra effort to lower animal fat as well and those lowering more Pufa. Some of those yummy cheeses and ice cream I just don’t have the metabolism yet to utilize that much fat.

@sushi_is_cringe salmon is up there in popularity in the US as well…
I avoid it now. Although if someone put a bagel with cream cheese and gravlax in front of my face I would eat it! And capers! Mmmm

RE: Detoxing from Atmospheric Stressors
It really is terrible what they’re doing. Spraying. I’m visiting friends in Southern California and the sky was sunny, the weather said it would start getting cloudy and be cloudy all the next day. But you could watch them spray dozens of tracks in sky for the next two days making a shity dirty thin mono cloud wall. Not real clouds. Then after two days of the spraying it’s cloudy but windy as fuck. Just insane. And blizzards and thunderstorms all over the Midwest where I live. Dirty rain. dirty snow. Everything is just covered in filth after a rain.
Anyway to answer your question. Co2.
You got to be boosting co2. However you can. Seems to be thee most protective thing to the cells right? All the Ray Peat basics really. -
RE: Feeling alive
Embrace novelty in your life. Cultivate intuition. Do things that might seem uncomfortable like invite people over for dinner that you made. Be indifferent to your failures and just move on. Learning always. Be apart of real life and think of online digital culture as like a treat in your life not the full deal. Examples of real life:
Play the piano or drums
Cook meals for more than yourself
Have a garden or many plants
Bowling with friends
Climb a mountain.
Walk through a park but not on the paved walkways. Be spontaneous
Get lost. Find your way back! -
RE: Silicon the dietary nutrient
@dapose said in Silicon the dietary nutrient:
Anyone ever used Orgono G5 siliplant Living Silica? It’s a silica supplement. I really liked it when I used it a few years ago before I discovered Peat and Haiduts thoughts on silica so I stopped using it. But I did notice joint improvement and no gut stress issues. This product claims much better silica absorption than from green beans or banana.
Test results with monomethylsilanetriol
(MMST) supplementation in healthy adults demonstrated silicon absorption within 30 minutes of ingestion. Surrogate markers of silicon bioavailability showed 64% of the consumed MMST serving was excreted by the subjects compare tp 43% of a cooked green bean serving and <4% for the ripe banana serving. Results available upon request during normal business hours. That was from the product label.

RE: What could be causing chronic dry flaky skin and lips?
I don’t know the cause but I’ve had crazy dandruff my whole adult life. I started intuitively putting Pregnenalone by idealabs on my scalp just to use up the product that I thought I would never buy again. (Because I didn’t feel anything from it.) But I don’t like wasting money so I just started putting it where my hair parts. Everyday. And my wife actually noticed first that my dandruff cleared up at least 95%. Remarkable!
Stressnon. FYI I don’t work for idealabs! -
RE: The pro-metabolic effects of apple polyphenols
@Mauritio said in The pro-metabolic effects of apple polyphenols:
@Kvothe Interestig.
To peel or not to peel?I peeled my apple for years because I read a study that showed lower pesticide content in the flesh than the peal but similar vitamin C and polyphenol content (I think they just looked at a single one).
But the peel contains an interesting molecule called ursolic acid which has anti-serotonin effects and also contains the most pectin, which helps with bile excretion.
So I stopped peeling for now.The skin of every fruit IS the insecticide. Eating it is congruent with the idea of Rays carrot salad.
Sugar plus a mild antibiotic.
I eat a different colored apple everyday! So many beautiful ones!
