      Hello everybody,
when I use new things I'm very cautious, so I start very slow.

Weeks ago I tested 1 drop of cypro (0,5mg) before sleep and couldn't sleep nearly the whole night maybe 2-4 hours. getting sleepy with heart Palpitations etc.

Exactly the same happened yesterday night with 1 drop of lapodin.

My problem is im hypo with hashimoto put can't push through with higher doses because I gets stress reaction def adrenaline maybe also cortisol and serotonin.
Because of my hypothyroid state i have also huge histamine issues.

Thats why i Bought cypro and lapodin to break through the stress cycle
AFAIK Haidut spoke on RPF on different problems from users of this product they had the same problem like me, he said they're running mostly on stress hormones and cypro and lapodin lowered them to the point they get palpitations and get more stress feelings.

IDK what to do try higher doses NDT get higher stress response but hoping the more thyroid im running on the better cypro or lapodin would help?

Or maybe try cypro or lapodin in the morning on a free day when cortisol is highest?

Maybe someone has had the same problems and can chime in

@Mr-X maybe pregnenolone would help oppose this excess stress, lowering cortisol and so on so that other things are more tolerable.

I think this would not eliminate the problem. I tried everything in low doses preg prog dhea cypro lapodin everytime I get the same stress reactions. Either I use too low of the doses of the stress reducing substances i mentioned above and must breaktrough there but then maybe I‘ll be a zombie with a TSH of 4,9 or I must push through raising my NDT dose double the amount i am using currently in combination with the stress lowering substances

I dont want these palpitations with the stress lowering agents excalerate with higher doses. Either I go all IN for example my current dose of NDT is 1/2 grain. And I would to up to 1 grain and counter act directly the stress responses from the higher doses of thyroid or IDK

Otherwise Im trapped always in a state where I take as little s thyroid which I can tolerate but will be hypo 4 life

today I took 2 drops lapodin with my 1/4 grain NDT in the morning, I think this is the answer for me at the moment to take these stress reducing substances in the morning when the body has als thyroid and more food for blood sugar stabilization. Not in the evening when thyroid and blood sugar is already low

@Mr.-X do you still take this? so it actually absorbs transdermally in just alcohol and sfa mix?

What about rT3 and the Free T3 / Reverse T3 ratio from you last blood labs?
If rT3 is high too the problem could be there.

                    • TSH: 4.9 (Ref. 0.5 - 2.5)
                    • Free T4: (Fuel reserve)
                    • Free T3: (ref 1.58–3.91) (active hormone)
                    • Reverse T3: (ref 31–95) (garage way)
The Free T3 / Reverse T3 ratio: Major cellular blockage if not appropriate. rT3 must be seen has an emergency brake (garage pathway).
                    • Anti-TPO: IU/mL (ref <35 is negative)
                    • Anti-TG: IU/mL (ref <115 is negative)
Cortisol resulting from excess stress blocks T4 conversion and shunts everything toward rT3. When the cellular receptors are saturated with rT3, metabolism is damped. Heat can no longer be produced, resulting in a drop in body temperature and a collapse in dopamine levels.
Edit: The histamine intolerance issue must be addressed first. Cyproheptadine is an older H1-blocking medication; you need both H1 and H2 blockade. And not only a blockade. Not sufficient. E.g. DAO enzymes are required.

@alfredoolivas emodin is actually quite interesting and if it absorbs topically in lapodin it solves the bioavailability issues. something like 8-10% is only absorbed in the emodin form because gut enzymes metabolize it into other stuff even before the liver gets to it.

taking like 300mg orally turns urine orange and makes people think they have kidney failure

pretty sure dmso is the best solvent for transdermal tho. the alcohol solvents might be a cope

@sunsunsun yep it has a really short half life too, just from experience, my skin stays yellow and it cakes up / forms a layer on my skin that I can scrape off. So I doubt it absorbs transdermally in ethanol. You could let the ethanol evaporate and dissolve it in DMSO though
