Dismantling Charlie's words and deeds on the "raypeat "forum and here

@mostlylurking Traumatizing for me too, I was also there 10 years!
When I got the ban I made a comment that Ray’s work helped me and still does, since everyone was piling on that he destroyed their health. That Christ lady responded “did it though?” mentioning the B1 stuff. So now we’re supposed to throw the baby out with the bathwater! It’s like these people saw Ray as a God and now want to tear him down because they didn’t get the results they expected.

I saw your first ban and couldn’t believe it... didn’t realize he did it twice! How is everybody who is still over there seeing the insanity and saying nothing? He’s acting like an out of control tyrant. I don’t think he’s going to lift mine at all because I was too critical. I’m just mad because of some private messages I’ll lose touch with. Hopefully those people find their way here.
Yep, he did it twice. After about three days, he lifted the ban but there was no notification; it was just gone and I was automatically logged in so I checked my private messages and someone had sent me info and a link about thiamine both increasing AND decreasing acetylcholine (in other words, thiamine "modulates" acetylcholine) and I never got to respond to them and I lost that link to the study. Sob. So give it a few days; he may simply unblock you without notifying you.
I suspect there's some serious Stockholm Syndrome going on over there. How could there not be?
Charlie jumped the shark.

I sneaked over there and read that thread. I didn't really get what Christ Lady's point was. Ray Peat recommended thiamine (B1) many times. I don't get what she was trying to say at all.
I suspect that many of the people who were disappointed in Ray Peat never actually studied Peat's articles or listened to his interviews on Politics & Science (those are the best). I suspect that they relied on second/third hand information that they got from each other.

Got banned for saying this.

Weird narcissist cult leader vibes.
It feels so wrong that someone can do this in Ray's name.
-
-
@max I saw that happen in real time! I was really hoping you had already made your way here.
-
@S-Holmes Happy to be here! 🫡
-
@max Charlie is banning the best and the brightest. It's his loss.

How much time before Hans gets the hammer "You disrespected me in my house telling me that people cured their condition other than restricting 99.99% food in this world ? How dare you oppose Garrett Smith Bald Guru and not take the Garret program cure everything with my psyllium supp" ?
-
...He's also banning the most interesting and entertaining people.
-
@max Disrespect me in my home. So, he's pissing on knowledge like a marking dog.
-
@Harlock and beans.
-
@Regina He really is arrogant, he should realize he's standing on the shoulders of Giants, and be more circumspect

@Not_James_Bond This always happens when someone believes they are appointed or chosen by God. The ego will inflate and they steam roll anyone they feel is hindering their holy purpose. I'm Christian (more orthodox, not evangelical) and it's apalling to see other "Christians" behave in this manner. I run the other way when I encounter them. They wield too much influence over the weak minded, to everyone's detriment. When the blind lead the blind everyone ends up in the ditch.
This even happened to the only people God ever chose for an actual higher purpose. And once they had served their purpose and had ultimately rejected God, adopting the insanely wicked Babylonian Talmud as their holy scriptures, they were wiped out by the Romans in 70 AD. The Jews of today are not Jews by blood (they have about as much Hebrew dna as the rest of us, from the days of the "diaspora," or scattering.) They are a mix of Turkish, Iranian, and southern European. They migrated to the area SW of Russia, namely Ukraine, sometime in the 8th or 9th century. The Talmud was also adopted by them. Among other horrors, it permits the rape of children under the age of 3.

@S-Holmes Charlie's latest addition is to add Asparagus back in his diet as Garrett Smith has approved it, maybe the retinol will 'open' his eyes lol
I'm not religious but your God sounds better than his might! -
@Not_James_Bond Too funny! One can hope! You would like my God. He isn't planning to blow up (end) the world and wants only the best for humanity.
