p.s. might pay out of pocket and try a Prenuvo scan MRI. Anyone have experience with that?

Avoiding CAT Scans
I've had some intermittent abdominal paid that's becoming more frequent and getting worse just under the rib on my upper left side. Had an endoscopy that didn't see anything, but it's been persisting. My doctor has been pushing for a CAT scan. I suggested an MRI without contrast or ultrasound, but am met with them saying that they can't produce good enough images to see anything. I can feel strong pressure for the CAT scan.
I'm very familiar with Ray's stance on CAT scans and how "one CAT scan is too much." What would the move be in this kind of situation? Just ignore the pain and hope for the best while I keep tinkering with diet? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

RE: A combination of vitamin B1/B3/B7 and aspirin, has curative effects on human mantle-cell lymphoma
Hey guys, someone dear to me was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It's pretty severe with few options moving forward, so I'm going to give this b vitamin and aspirin protocol a try for her. I'm also thinking doxycycline, RU486, baking soda, and vitamin D, and maybe Progest-e and thyroid. Throwing everything at it.
Just wondering if anyone has experimented with this and had any insights overall. I don't want to overload her with a ton of things and cause more stress, but these all seem to be good ideas based on what I've learned here. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

RE: Took glandular thyroid and now my thyroid gland hurts.
@Baron-Canis I don't think there's any way to tell how much hormone is actually in that product.
Also who knows what else is actually in that. I'd opt for something like Armour or Cynomel/Cynoplus that allows you to know exactly how much hormone you're administering.
I've had discomfort in my thyroid gland when coming off of thyroid medication.
Danny's article is very helpful.

RE: How I overcame reflux
@sztrapacska @ParthianCoconut Cool to hear.
I somewhat recently treated H. Pylori with clarithromycin and amoxicillin, and I was also given a PPI (pantoprazole) along with it, which I took reluctantly. Towards the end of the 2 week treatment and after, I've had acid reflux quite bad for the first time in my life. I also have this weird tightness of the muscles in my neck that I've never experienced before.
Does anyone know why I would have this after this treatment? Is it taking and stopping the PPI after a short while?
Any insight would be appreciated. Going to try some of the things @ParthianCoconut listed above, thought aspirin has seemed to exacerbate it, and typically I've actually experienced many symptoms of low cortisol.
Thanks!

RE: Thyroid supplements leading to lack of drive & deteriorating energy
I believe it was anywhere from a couple weeks or a month maybe. I switched to Armour after that.
I personally wouldn't start with an NDT product like that. I think it will probably just be confusing to figure out what's going on without the ability to be precise. If your temp and pulse are both low and you want to look into thyroid as a tool to get it up, I'd definitely use something like Armor, or Cynomel/Cynoplus.
If you haven't seen this article by Danny, it's very helpful.
There's a lot of good info on this page as well.

RE: Thyroid supplements leading to lack of drive & deteriorating energy
@bhspeat said in Thyroid supplements leading to lack of drive & deteriorating energy:
So somewhat curiously, I tried 2 thyroid supplements, and both did not sit right at all.
The first was an off-shelf supplement that was a higher dose than needed on day 1 (150mg natural glandular). After a couple days of that, instantly felt uneasy, lack of motivation and drive, and just overall not right. So I stopped it. Gave it a 2-3 weeks of no supplementation
Then, after reading about ideal dosing and more, I tried a homeopathic supplement ‘thyroidinum 3x’. It’s supposed to be sheep glandular. Tried this for 2 days — again lost all motivation, drive, had ears ringing in the morning, etc
I too felt terrible when trying the types of supplements you mentioned.

H. Pylori Eradication Thread
I'm curious who on here has experience dealing with h. pylori infections?
Recently found out that I have an infection, so I'm going through my notes and going to order some antibiotics. Wondering if anyone has any pointers and tips when it comes to types of antibiotics, dosing, other things to look out for, etc.
Saw this interested post by @haidut: Vitamin D3 may cure H. pylori (HP) infection
Also this clip of Ray, Danny, and Georgi touching on the topic on Generative Energy here.
Thanks!

RE: Dental X Rays
@Evolutionarily Hey hey! I didn't cave on the x-rays, but faced a stern reprimand from my dentist and dental hygienist, who told me I "must have it done" next time I come in.
I actually found out recently that I have an h. pylori infection, which explains a lot of odd digestive symptoms I was having. Like @Peatly's post said, I'm willing to bet that my teeth grinding, and gum symptoms are downstream of the digestive issues. Thanks, Peatly. Going to start antibiotics this week so can keep you posted.
I also found that the days I was diligent to keep my calcium to phosphate ratio at or above 1:1, I didn't have any discomfort in the spots on my gums. Not sure if that was coincidence or if it actually helped.
