New "Mission" of RPF

Seems like Charlie is really backpedaling. He knows if he loses the RP people, this forum will fall apart. You are now "allowed to respectfully disagree" with VA toxicity.
-
@risingfire He's just clumsily trying to exploit Raymond Peat's name in part to try to take money from newcomers and people unaware of his actions by recommending a boatload of supplements
He backtracks mainly and/or totally because we expose his actions, the same for Georgi's ban, for the change on pro vitamin A studies, the change of description below the forum name, he just reacts to the negative consequences for him and fears those to come, he knows that the ideas for which a major part come on the forum are those of Raymond Peat, Georgi "haidut", he knows that Raymond Peat disapproves of this forum and that he said in 2018 that the forum seems to have become a deliberate source of false information about him and progest-E, that the people who were most in contact with Raymond Peat, including Danny, Georgi "haidut" disapprove of the forum and/or charlie's bad moderation and bad actions, that the majority of active members disapprove of the forum and/or charlie's bad moderation and bad actions,
he knows that on his own he has 0 influence because his claims are mostly just repetitions of Garett's claims, and that his own thoughts aren't clear enough in his own head to the point of needing to use chatgpt to try to write decent messages, which end up being meaningless messages where hardly anyone responds except to point out that it is A.I. generated
He won't be able to do anything about what's to come about him and against him informatively and legally
-
What a joke. The place is unrecognizable. Every negative symptom they're now having is classified as 'detox' and when the current theory isn't sufficient to explain their symptoms they just throw in some random explanatory theory from somebody else.

Charlie posting this and @haidut answer :
Charlie posted then thousands of studies that demonstrated that Haidut was wrong... nah just kidding :
"You are stuck on bad science".
Imo their approach regarding "milk" is the thing where their theory (vit A + vit D toxicity considering that milk has both and it's the only thing a baby eats first) is falling appart. I remember Smith saying in a video "A mother gives milk to her baby so that she free herself from the poison". Why would god does such terrible thing ? What would god doesn't give to the baby as first food a food that contains protein, vit A, vit D, Magensium and calcium for the bones, and all other vitamins that a body needs to fight stress ? Oh wait... That's what milk is. But lately some of them started to change the dogma knowing it's totally ridiculous. They are now stating "Milk is ok when you are a child because you can resist the poison but with time it's poisining you". Same question to these believers : Why god would do such a thing ? Why human would converge to such an adaptation ?
When we watch old video (black and white usually) of people in big cities like Paris, you would find barely someone obese. No obesity, no diabete, no toxicity or such thing. People yet would probably live on bread, milk, butter and potatoes mainly ? I think they that so good thyroid that even startch was ok. But it was still a full vitA diet. So anyway.... things goes on...

More gaslighting
“Yup, it is a total waste of everyone's time even trying to debate it out because the picture is so clear yet many refuse to even look at it. All the debate will do is hold people back from healing because it will keep them confused. The evidence is now crystal clear, not much if any "vitamin A" is needed and the accumulation effects are disastrous in the long run. Here we are trying to save people from possibly miserable and degenerative deaths, while some of them try to tear me down financially and figure out any way they can to bring litigation against me and attempt to throw me in jail while some would outright kill me if they could. It's a strange world.”

the ex-"peatarians" who discovered ray via the pig matt stone never cease to surprise me, it's the gift that keeps on giving truly. they will sleight peats recommendations claiming "oh i gained too much weight" but i will bet the farm they are all still suffering from obesitas despite not having done anything resembling peating in years. almost like the whole interest in "alt-health" originated from the desire to find modalities that allow them to eat like a pig and blame someone else when it goes wrong (the matt stone generation).
harsh but it is the truth and i have no qualms saying it as such. i love ray and what his ideas did for me, i could not care less about those who use his name for profit and now debase him by comparing him to some facebook health group guru chiropractor selling his advices to hag-wives glued to their screen 18 hours a day.
does anyone remember the old peatarian board? the admin there had an interesting arc as well, he took the board down and brought it back a few times over the course of a couple years, the last time ending in what appeared to be a severe schizophrenic episode where he accused danny roddy and several others of hacking his computer and taunting him by trying to secretly communicate insults to him. frankly im not sure which meltdown is more retarded, that fella or the rpf fella.
the new crop of people who discovered peat and are in this sphere do not seem to have the same severe defects as the matt stone generation.
-
@oldchem Reading about the previous Peat forum admins fills me with dread.
-
@brad it did occur to me upon making that post that 2 out of 2 ray peat inspired forum admins did succumb to what would appear to be some form of psychosis. despite the 100% insanity rate, i am optimistic for the future.
-
@oldchem I'm feeling that perhaps I should treat the administratorship like The Ring in LOTR...Toss it to the bottom of a volcano before it possesses me.
-
@oldchem nopes, they just seem to be alt right racists and twitter opportunist scumbags now. Just seems like the other extreme to me, and i know Peat said he doesn't care how his message gets out there as long as it does(paraphrasing)i think he would throw pause at racists giving the fact he was vehemently opposed to the idea of eugenics, and i don't recall him ever explicitly claiming it or otherwise, but his rants on infrastructures and governments on Roddy's podcast gave the impression he's a progressive to me, though that assessment might be inaccurate as i've never really cared for politics in general.
Was pretty baffled when i came back to the RPF forum since leaving it in about 2015 to find that was kind of the status quo there though. It just snowballed over to social media and breeded retards like that BAP wannabe "SolBrah" etc
I'm not angry about it though..i'm a little too self aware to truly pay heed or give a real shit about any of this turnaround, but as a passive observer who's been aware of the "Peatsphere" since about 2013-14, it's surprising to see how the community has devolved into disparate political ideologies and theism/Christian Fundamentalist bible thumpers. It was a lot more grassroots way back.
Also, i don't ever remember Charlie not being an absolute tool. He was just less present in the early days, but the few times he did make an appearance it was clear to most the kind of person he likely is

the rpf admin being an "absentee landlord" in the early days is true. really i don't believe there has been a fundamental change in character, the fella is just experiencing euphoria from having discovered the answer (yet again) and to the detriment of his own board is "participating" a lot more. crazy to think if the fella just stayed as the absentee landlord and spent all his time reading facebook health groups like he always did, there wouldn't have been a downfall.
as for your point about how the early days of the peat-sphere evolved into what the rpf turned into, yeah i don't understand it either. all i can conclude is the truly original posters either got banned or no longer saw value in contributing and it basically just devolved into a bunch of laggards theorizing about how the world will end.
this is typically true for any board, there is always a golden era where you have a handful of personalities providing unique insights, which is why a new board was a good idea even if there wasn't a complete meltdown on the rpf.

@Truth it's interesting that he recommends following a low vitamin A will reduce all your supplements when in reality they are taking a large amount. The whole process sounds insane to me. "I don't feel well because 'I'm buffering' in the detox process.'' In the next few months, we should see results of people trying the low vA diet. I'm interested to see what the reaction will be on the forum.
I'm not sure Katherine has a large case to sue and win. I do not like what the RPF is doing to his legacy. TBD, I haven't liked it since Charlie became the "Law and Order Admin" in 2018 or 2019(I have since forgot). This is why I'm glad Ray's work has been preserved mostly his website. I reference it at least once a week.

It's too bad he can't look at a person and tell if they're hypothyroid. (Much easier to diagnose than subclinical A toxicity.) Mr. Smith looks unhealthy and hypo to me.

You are not sure Katherine has a case to win?
Why do you think that?
This isn’t about libel. Defamation. Or slander.
This is about his work- protected by copyright law.Would like to know your thoughts.

What Christian denomination(s) do Charlie, Garret, ICA, and Blossom belong to? Anyone know for sure?
When the bodybuilders found Ray Peat was when the "community" went from scholarly nerdy types to bro culture, and events since 2016 and covid made the fundies and racists feel more emboldened. Interesting no one ever points out the seething misogyny in all these spaces. That's just to be expected I suppose.
-
@Light Yep misogyny is unacceptable, but on the rise, heck here in the UK some Politicians cannot define what a Woman is!, depressing state of affairs
As a Male I am somewhat embarrassed by BRO talk on here, and RPF.
