Took 3mcg of T3. Felt almost nothing.
-
@peatyzilian You're planning to change your dose after taking a single dose?
-
@CO3 Idk what to expect, but i’ll try more 3mcg tomorrow on breakfast and on lunch. I’m just wondering if i should have felt something, since i’ve heard T3 is way more potent than T4.
-
@peatyzilian You heard wrong. They're simply different forms of thyroid hormone. T4 is the passive form, which accumulates and gets released over time, but is also able to convert into rT3.
I suggest you inform yourself a bit more and take a more patient approach. Try taking the same dose, every 2h with food. If it's raising your temps it's surely effective. If you're expecting to suddenly feel insanely good try hard drugs or something, but thyroid supplementation is a matter of slowly correcting deficiencies and hormonal disregulation, so more patience and careful observation is needed.
-
@CO3 Sure, i wasn't expecting to feel insanely good either and the purpose of the topic was precisely to know if it would be necessary to increase the dose or not.
-
I don’t think anything works that quickly, but I understand that you probably feel awful and want something to work straight away. I’m in the same boat. Give it a week or more then increase. I’d say it’s definitely working if it’s raised your temp. Hopefully some more experienced people will chime in.

@peatyzilian The rise in temperature is good and the desired outcome. Yours was very low.
I would not change the dosages, but make your own tests with the time intervals. E.g. take it every few hours, or when the temperature drops.
You have to do your tests for some weeks first. If you are hypothyroid, changes will come over time.

Give it more time. If still nothing, make sure your vitamin D is good. If still nothing, add in cynoplus as well as little bits of t3 in the day.
There are some articles floating around if you can't get thyroid working
