Last resort nuke for acne/acne marks?
-
I have been experimenting with garlic before bed which has had some discernible benefit. However, I feel like its not enough. I am never going to take accutane or any other antibiotic, but am interested in other cures for this. Recently saw that baking soda could be advantageous for this but am unsure to what extent. I use niacinamide serum from The Ordinary with some result when it comes to scarring and am getting fewer outbreaks.
Interested to hear any other cures people have used, as I am pretty sure my acne is hormonal/metabolic of some kind, likely bacterial overgrowth, but I'm not sure.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

@PeaterDinklage Garlic is as hard on bacteria as it is on the gut. Do you eat a carrot salad everyday? Lactoferrin has helped as well.
Penicillin too, but you don't want to take antibiotics

@PeaterDinklage Try to eat carrot salad every day, but I find lots of coffee moves bowels more efficiently for me. Sometimes the carrot salad would block me up but am going to try to grate instead of peel and see how that works out for me.
Do you mean lactoferrin supplementation or just drinking adequate milk every day?
Thanks.

@PeaterDinklage Peeling length-wise keeps the fibres intact, so if you want it to be better at what it's supposed to do I would suggest not grating. If it causes constipation, then constipation should be addressed. The best method would be trying to have the carrot salad with some high quality olive oil instead of coconut oil and white vinegar everyday, maybe adding in 7g of magnesium bisglycinate (no additives) before bed, and buying some good and additive-free colostrum or lactoferrin supplements on the market. In my experience.

@CO3 Thank you for the reply, I’ll look into the white vinegar as well as the lactoferrin.

Vitamine D + magnesium

@basednigga2006 Is magnesium bisglycinate best?

@PeaterDinklage Maybe I will try, seems a little weird not to just take every day. Maybe I try in future thank you.

@CO3 Do you know whether Peat mentioned Doxycycline. ZOG doctor recommended it but I'm not sure whether I'll use this. Very confused about Peat's opinion on antibiotics, could they fix other things potentially?
-
@PeaterDinklage yes he mentioned it belonged to the quinone family and low doses were good ifaik
-
@PeaterDinklage What's to be confused about? The way Ray recommends using them is a lot different from doctors, who overprescribe them for long amounts of time.
-
@CO3 Doctor recommended 3 months of doxycycline which seems extremely excessive. Is it not dangerous to come off them at one week?
-
+1 for Lactoferrin.
I've acne marks in my back and since almost 1 month I'm taking Colostrum which contains Lactoferrin, my gf told me a few times my back improved a lot. -
@PeaterDinklage Oh you're in luck! The only reason to have a doctor! You can get a nice supply of doxy going at reduced rates if health care pays for it.
I personally take antibiotics for 2 weeks maximum at doses much lower than prescribed. Just be perceptive and read up on it a little, Danny Roddy has some resources. The idea is not to kill entire colonies of bacteria so that even more powerful ones can take their place. Doxy is one of the safest ones though. The fact that doctors manage to make some of the best pharmaceuticals unhealthy by this massive overprescribing is insane. Taking it for 3 months will likely have only negative effects, and the positive will entail reducing acne for a while, but that will be the same if you do it for two weeks. You want to not utterly disturb your gut biome, just kill a decent part of the bacteria (and fungus simultaneously since doxy is sulphur based and thus an antifungal too!).
Antibiotics are a great way to learn how to perceive things and be attentive.

I’ve had acne for years, years my friend.
Finally been seeing improvements with increasing my metabolic rate through B1 B3. Increasing CO2 through Biotin. Using Pantothenic acid daily in 50-100mg as it has been shown to cure acne in high doses (also causes hairloss in those doses to I opted for moderate doses and actually noticed thicker hair). Also recently supplemented zinc and it has had a profound effect on my acne. Ray has talked about liver and thyroid clearing up acne but he also talks about the importance of getting oysters in the diet for the trace minerals. I’d say zinc is extremely important for acne from personal experience.

Also just like to mention that I did do antibiotics as well and the acne came back worse after doing them and it messed up my digestion for a good while. I’d not recommend messing with your gut so heavily as people tend to do here unless you get the proper nutrition to make up for all the gut producing vitamins like B’s and K.
