If you block someone today all that happens is that you wont see that persons comments/threads. But they still can see yours and can reply to you without you knowing (what really bothers me). How about making it work like on twitter that once you block someone they cant see your stuff either.

It's deeper seated in you than described. Eat sugar and chew through it.
At least half of the design decisions on Twitter and similar are behavioural traps. You're better off banning yourself or getting to the bottom of it.

My Twitter experience has been excellent ever since I blocked doomposters, bald men, women, non-whites, and some other types of accounts on sight. and I spend considerably less time on it. 20 minutes a day, max.

Not quite Bill. There's still a crucial and conveniently recent (correct your heart to use your brain) "feature" of Twitter missing from this place. And it's still traversable there too, for now.

I feel like you are projecting here. Do you often get angry at posts on the internet? I myself never do so. I do get demoralized by them, so I block the people who post stuff that demoralizes me. My point is simple: why would I want a person to bring off-topic stuff to a thread continuously?
