@rt happier in the nights/winters. My skin has gotten great too but that could be diet. I mostly like it because it's cozy and helps me drift to sleep ngl

@rayjeet Looks fine. Keep in mind you need a 250W fixture for it

The socket the bulb screws into; needs to be ceramic and supporting up to 250W otherwise it will melt and create a dangerous situation

@rayjeet I use mine for hours at a safe distance.

1 light is enough, but 2 is better for the heat.

hijacking the thread to ask what's a good red light easy to find in europe, preferably low in EMFs

Get a normal 250 watt phillips bulb. These have recently gone out of production so there are probably others with a similar design that are cheaper. It really doesn't matter much. Shouldn't be any substantial difference of EMF, the main thing for reducing that is just to have it pointing straight at you. There isn't really a point in getting one that is actually red in colour unless you wanna pretend to live in Das boot [1981].

I tested my lamp and it does in fact emit a fair amount of EMFs. To mitigate this, I ground the lamp with this or ground myself when using it. IMG_2426-2.jpg
