For the past 2 years ive been very serious about bodybuilding and made serious progress
Ive been taking in a lot of white rice-600 grams(uncooked weight) everyday
The forum really looks down on starch and i noticed this amount of rice clogs me up a bit
What calorically dense carb could i eat instead of rice to continue to build muscle?

Potatoes. They’re delicious, cheap, and high in potassium.

@Cezar4911 600 grams of raw white rice = 472 grams of carbs.

This is equivalent (in energy from carbs) to:

        Honey 26 g
        Dates, Fresh 50 g
        Grapes, Raw 200 g
Passion Fruit Juice, Yellow 200 g
        Papayas, Raw 200 g
        Plums, Raw 400 g
        Watermelon, Raw 300 g
Tamarind juice with sugar 400 g
        Mango, Fresh 400 g
        Orange Juice, Fresh 1000 g
        Milk, Whole 1000 g

With this, you probably don't even need extra water during the day or to worry about potassium, vitamin C and half of vitamin E. It's also pretty much starch free, oxalates free and low to moderate fiber.

White rice is a starch that's easily broken down, just don't eat it undercooked. You can always mix it up, well cooked potatoes one day, rice the next, something else the day after etc etc. Try a raw carrot on the days you have rice if its slowing down your tubes, insoluble fiber.

There's a potatoe thread here somewhere if you want too look it up for prep ideas and variety types.

I find I tend to digest well-cooked starches better than whole fruit. But I find very ripe watermelons, mangoes, and mandarin oranges can work pretty well. Drinking a lot of fruit juice could also be a good way of getting in a lot of easily digestible carbs

                      @Cezar4911

Raises DHT like mad. No seriously if you try it you will know what I mean its not like anything else

i think it has some substance which speeds up the 5-AR enzyme or something.

i can guarantee if you tried it colours would look brighter and you will feel even better. even if you already feel amazing
