Beyond the question of Peatiness of L-citruline, you could try watermelon and watermelon rind to get it from food. Being that I'm incredibly sensitive to supplements, I can juice watermelon rinds with no negative effects, but taking an L-citruline supplement definitely gives me the negative effects of low blood pressure and pulse, and excess NO. Maybe the NO from L-citruline would want to be avoided, from a Peat perspective, but that I don't feel those effects from watermelon makes me less concerned.
