Indeed. Consider the "migrant crisis." It is another way of achieving the Patriot Act 2.0: hyper-documentation and surveillance of everyone. Yet illegal immigration is encouraged and systemically beneficial to business and politicians all the same so there's no chance it will be reduced. The movie Children of Men seems to reveal their agenda:
-tons of migrants
-police state interrogating any citizen under the guise of "illegal immigrant" / border security
-prisons / detainments on all borders
-inflation
-a "virus" that causes infertility
-euthanasia / suicide kits as OTC medicine
-livestock massacre / food supply destruction
-Islamic terrorism
-interracial families
-global authoritarianism

The same thing happened with Germanys "Querdenken" anti covid lockdown anti vaccine movement (see the Corona Q again?). It got all the opposition collected in one space so they can safely "protest" without acually accomplishing anything. A part of the movement at one of the biggest protests where almost 1 million people gathered wanted to storm and occupy the US Embassy (I guess because of puppet Bill Gates major influence in the WHO) to put a stop to all of this, but the organizers (who marketed themselves as revolutionaries btw) stopped them from doing it so they can instead sing and do drum circles. The opposition movements main organizers name was Michael Ballweg (like "the ball taken from your court" in German, you have to include a few laughs always), a tech millionaire who worked with Bill Gates in the past. Starting to make sense how they work?

Do you mean generally or specifically from her angle? Because I'm not getting my hope from 'qalerts.app' (comedy maybe) and I'm not suggesting you do. If you really are generally 'blackpilling' then I might join others in telling you to buck up or shut up, but not without humour.
That other stuff. I know natureman. I know. But if you want to reach someone like her, you’re going to have to change tack and try to understand before you do. Because you can make it worse. And even then, unless you’re the social equivalent of Ethan Hunt, you’ll probably take some shit for it.

Your first distinction's probably more accurate. I might call him a whino. Simply yelling "they're demons" isn't exactly constructive and may be ironic. While someone like Ellison's spent far too much time on the last floor of an elevator or the deck of a yacht to have a clue. DBMS is really not and never was that complicated.
However a Mathis trained FOSS LLM would be extremely amusing to converse with. Someone ought to make that happen.

I would personally expect a rapid widening of living standards between the trade-surplus countries (Russia, China) and the trade-deficit countries (USA, much of Europe), as exponential-level effects begin to kick into high gear.
