I'm taking cynomel for 3 months now. I take 1/2 a tablet 3 times a day plus 1/4 cynoplus at night. (I have build it up slowly).
I feel good however my heart rate is up quite a bit. I don't worry about it but I am out of breath very quickly. It's noticeable compared to before.

Anybody has experienced the same? Did it get better over time? What did you do about it?

@happyhanneke Ray said it’s best not to take more than 10mcg T3 in a dose within an hour. And best to keep it at 2-5mcg

One Cynomel tablet is 25 mcg. So you mean I should only take 1/5? That's about the dose I started with. Broda Barnes mentioned that people usually need 2 grains so that would be 25 mcg. I have this from Danny Roddy's post on thyroid supplementation.

          What do you think?

I know I can respond differently to meds than others so it's definitely possible I need less.

@happyhanneke For cynomel weigh out 10-20mg to get that 2.5 to 5mcg range.

And with cynoplus make sure the doses don’t exceed 10mcg of t3 per dose. So 53mg of cynoplus max in a dose. Even less is probably better, splitting it up throughout the day.
