The Most Peaty Drink Known to Man

I have perfected the Orange Julius, and for the past few months I've drank one almost everyday. One of the greatest tasting things I've ever made at home, and one of the most nutritious. It is so extremely easy to make, if you have a high quality blender the consistency should come out incredibly smooth.
Recipe:
1/2 cup raw milk
Splash of heavy cream
1-2 raw eggs
1 peeled orange (or juice it idc I'm lazy)
2-3 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate
2 tbsp or 40 grams of maple syrup (or honey)
2 tsp of vanilla
120 grams of ice
Pinch of saltBlend on high for a minute or two and you have made the greatest drink to start your day.
Adjust any of the ratios to your liking. I noticed if I add 2 eggs the consistency is better if I add 20-40 more grams of ice to compensate.

@Faustus I came here to post an Orange Julius recipe but yours is better. Mine is more low-effort. Every time I make an Orange Julius I cannot stop myself from immediately chugging the whole thing. My body is like I need this shit now. Nutrition 2 da maxxxx

Thank you for this wisdom. I know what I'm doing this weekend: trying this recipe.
-
@potato You are not alone tater, when I drink it I feel my cells being revitalized. Hands down one of the most nutritious things I can whip up in the kitchen.
@LinDaiyu Please report back after you give it a try! I said 2-3 ounces in the recipe but I think 2.5 is the sweet spot, just the right amount of bitterness to counteract the richness and sweetness.
-
@Faustus I would give my soul to taste this. It seems really good.
-
@Faustus going to try this out tomorrow, thank you.
-
@Faustus I only have pasteurized/UHT milk around me, will this work?
-
@dt Yes of course it will. If I'm not using raw milk I'm using pasteurized goat milk. The more fat the better it will taste but it will still be plenty good with low fat.
@Norwegian-Mugabe Do you not have access to oranges in Norway?
@donovan Please come back and let me know what you think!

Sounds like way too much stuff tbh
-
@pilky you are supposed to clean up threads not shit them up jannie

I do a slightly less refined version for breakfast every morning with just milk, OJ, honey, 2 egg yolks, and about 3mg of methylene blue. Nectar of the Gods.
-
Donovan said he'll be trying this today. If he doesn't post receipts we should gangstalk him. 6 hours remaining.
-
@LinDaiyu fuck

@pilky It's a genuine opinion. Wouldn't all the OJ curdle the milk?

Great idea on the inclusion of methylene blue, I'll have to give this a try tomorrow morning.

It does not.

Made a pretty simple one this weekend
1 cup fresh OJ
1 cup raw milk
3 raw egg
4 tbsp beef collagen
1 tbsp honeyMellow taste, maybe probably didn’t need 3 eggs. It really is a drink that gets me saying “wow” after every sip.
-
@Faustus can you update us on whether or not adding Methylene Blue was a good idea
-
I screenshotted this thread and made it my phone wall paper. If anyone ever steals my phone they will be blessed more than they know.

@thewhitetibetan Thanks for sharing, I agree I think 3 eggs is too much, as of recently I started doing just 2 egg yolks and it is coming out even better than when I was using whole eggs. I suggest adding some vanilla and a few ounces of orange juice concentrate to add more depth of flavor, just don't be excessive with the concentrate or it will come out very acidic. But I am very glad to hear you enjoyed every sip of this heavenly drink. I will not be satisfied until everyone on this forum is drinking an Orange Julius to start their day.
