Quick question , how do I take idealabs liquid cyproheptadine?

First I wanna say I am very happy to get haiduts cyproheptadine, ive been reading so much good about this medication
How do I use it?
Do I just drop it under my tounge sublingually and then swallow it after a few minutes?
Or do I just drop it in a glass of water and drink it ?

I do one sublingual drop at night, wait a bit, swallow. It makes me feel sleepy within half an hour and has helped over a period of weeks with anxiety (feeling of cold dread that used to hit mid morning) and digestion. I find it makes me groggy if I take it right before bed so I aim for an hour before bedtime and might experiment with moving it earlier.

@Ray-Peat-Fanboy I find the effects to be stronger when taken orally. Applying it trasndermally will remove some of the negative side effects as of not easily waking up the next morning

@risingfire Out of curiosity, how do you adjust your dosage when you take it transdermally vs. sublingually?

@peatlegal it's generally the same. I haven't used cypro in over a year but it's anywhere between 1-2 mgs. I'll use it transdermally so I don't experience a "hangover" the next day. Keep it the same

I use 3-5 drops on my stomach depending on how much I need it. Absorbs through the skin pretty quick. I do it right before bed. Georgi said in a podcast once upon a time that if you use 1mg everyday for 4,5 days you completely stop having the super drowsy sensation. I found that to be absolutely true.
