      @Corngold isn't oatmeal hard to digest?

        @lobotomize-me if you soak the oats over night in milk the gluten breaks down and it’s easier to digest.

          Can be but steel cut / overnight soaking helps. I don't like oats but it can be done.

            @WendyZed I make a yoghurt cheese cake for breakfast. It’s 0 fat Greek yoghurt, eggs, honey or maple syrup, berries and either a table spoon of tapioca flour or rice starch. It’s delicious.

                I make a batch of ham and egg mcmuffins for my dad every week. They’re easy to make with the right pan. I bought this set from Amazon:

                https://www.amazon.com/Elesinsoz-Muffin-Non-Stick-Straight-Hamburger/dp/B0CDLHYXV5/ref=sr_1_6

                I use 2 heirloom eggs, 2 slices of muenster cheese and 2 thick slices of Canadian bacon per muffin baked in the oven at 350° for 20–25 minutes, and brioche English muffins because my dad likes softer bread:

                Another quick and easy breakfast sandwich is a croissant sandwich. I buy premade croissants (with clean ingredients) and cut a pocket in them, and on the stovetop scramble eggs with some cream, maple syrup, salt and pepper, line the croissants with cheese and Canadian bacon or regular bacon, fill them with the scrambled eggs, wrap them up, and freeze them. I don’t have any pics of them not already frozen, but to give an idea of what they look like:

                      @GlucoseGal would love that recipe. I’m not a cook but I can follow a basic recipe 🙂

                        @lysanderswife Sure!
                        Combine 550 grams of Skyr 0% fat yoghurt (plain or sweetened), 3 large eggs, 50 grams honey, 1 cup of berries, teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 Tbs (40g) rice flour or tapioca flour. Preheat oven 180c , pour mixture into a baking paper lined round or 8x8 square baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes. Until centre isn’t jiggly. Serve with maple syrup or honey on top.

                          It’s not for everyone, but I like 16oz of milk warmed with either two scoops of dextrose or two tablespoons of honey.

                            I love warm milk with honey in the morning, especially with a pinch of vanilla bean powder. This might sound crazy but vanilla is said to mimic the scent of breast milk, and vanilla is anti-inflammatory (per Ray), so it can be a relaxing drink to have before bed for children, in particular.
