          downstream

          afik

It's entirely possible our views are inverted.

What if your condition has a reference range, and what if indication is all around and behind you.

@Dedeluded said in Peat did not believe in the androgenic man?:

that reflects his mindset as the poster suggested

The poster asked a question. He's on a journey or something.

@wester130 said in The ‘Fall’ of man from a new perspective.:

          what is a "man"?

t4 converts to t3. That would be downstream no?

@Dedeluded said in Peat did not believe in the androgenic man?:

Thyroid is farther downstream than testosterone in the sense that it's the final active form

              I'm a little confused. But that's ok.

              manly stuff

Apparently he doesn't know what a "man" is.

Being cryptic doesn't help anyone in any way.

                    Don't be confused

                    t3 is downstream of t4

Pregnenolone is not downstream bc it's the first

Testosterone continues converting but is downstream of pregnenolone.

Ok but you asked if thyroid and preg are cop outs in comparison to testosterone. I described them further upstream and more fundamental. You're free to differ.

On earth you work with actual information to reach rational conclusions. We should all aspire to get there

I'll stick with my original answer to OPs question. But thank you for your thoughts on testosterone recommendations and what constitutes manly things.

I would make the case for a sense of humour. Definite sarcasm as you didn't ask.

I'm not talking about synthesis. Only that if you're not cooking ATP then the golden goose isn't much use. There is crosstalk between those systems, but still. If you're metabolically well, eating plenty of sat lipids and the other goods, testosterone ought to be where it needs to be.

His love of painting, art and poetry

                                      His recommendation of progesterone

A preference for an introspective, reflective thoughtful life

Your title question is about what he believed
                                      But
Your text above is about who he was
So im unsure of what you are asking

                                      I comment to point out
Have you seen his subjects of a majority of his artwork?
                                      Naked women

He was a man who found beauty in women

Extremely “androgenic” although nothing to do with mass or hair etc

The further society drifts from the truth the more it will hate those who speak it.

Well I guess Jacob was preferred by God to Esau. So there's that.

The effect on libido isn't clear.

Progesterone therapy in men (transgender women), does not significantly effect, testosterone, libido and weight

Does male sexual behavior require progesterone?

I envisioned Peat as a mythical autistic hermit. I kind of Yoda

I found out he was married for decades when he died and the image shattered. Still hard to imagine
