Be careful of high phosphorus foods on a low calcium diet
-
This is a warning for anyone who doesn’t feel good on dairy.
I’ve been eating a high amount of green peas over the last couple of months (which are extremely high in phosphorus), and today I realized I have symptoms of high cortisol.I started reviewing my diet and everything that could be contributing to this, and I discovered that peas contain a lot of phosphorus, which I wasn’t balancing with enough calcium.
This may have led to massive weight gain, cold extremities, late nights, anxiety, and more. So, this is just a reminder to be careful and review your diet regularly

Keep whatever adjustment you've made. Don't doubt it. Just wondering.

Is your water consumption around your training/games a bit schizo by any chance? More so with that ridiculous list of supplements.

@ThinPicking as i mentioned before i reduced my supplements to only b1. Wdym do i drink a bit schizo around my games and matches?
-
Tanking it before during or after basically. Or do you use electrolytic and/or sugary "sports" drinks? (Better/ideal I think.)
-
@ThinPicking Sugary, but I’ve realized I must add some type of protein to it to mitigate the tryptophan surviving solo after insulin drives other amino acids into muscle cells

There's a lot of ion exchange going on there too.

Replying late, I know, but I was doing a key word search for green peas and came across this thread.
Sounds like orthorexia to me. There's no way green peas were doing all that (and if they were, please explain the mechanism), unless you were downing like a kilo of them a day or something. And even then it wouldn't make sense. Per serving, they are not that high in phosphorous. And high phosphorous alone isn't going to do everything you mentioned.
